Press Agent Smoothing, Frizz Control Blow Dry Styling Serum

I wish I could give this product and its companion the cream a 5 but I can’t. Does it keep humidity out for 72 hours? Yes 100%. HOWEVER, it’s really easy to either use too much AND it causes buildup on hair tools in addition to making the hair feel sticky! And don’t try to fix it because you’ll just have to wash your hair all over again. I forgot to mention the fragrance to me wasn’t bad but it caused my spouse to sneeze for days!

Why this needs to be two separate products is beyond me. I don't feel it's enough effective anyway, my silk presses with this line come out looking very dull and not very swishy, and that's with top of the line styling tools and texturised coily hair. I'm going back to my tried and trues: Aveda, Kenra, and Biolage.

Have used this multiple times , I have type 4 hair which is coily hair and this serum leaves a cast on hair and builds up over time esp when flat ironing & also I find it quite greasy which weighs the hair down even when using a small rinse size amlujt. The more you use the worse it gets. I may have to try it on wet hair as I’ve only tried it after. I’ve already put in my ors 7 in one heat protectant then this once my hair is blow dried. Maybe it doesn’t interact well with water based products since it’s a serum base idk but it felt very silicone like and not good. Mizani has changed over the years and nd not for the good I stopped enjoying them in about 2019 since then their products have been off to me.

I have frizzy fuzzy white people hair and this product actually tames my mane! Makes my hair look and feel like silk! Smells great and lasts for days~ Will purchase again❣️

I love the smell to this product. Works great. I prefer this over the cream. It does what it says it does. I would definitely buy.

I know that I’m not the target audience for this product, but this works so incredible for my hair! My hair is mostly straight, but I can never get it super smooth with just a brush while blow drying, but this product completely changed that!! My hair is so smooth and shiny and I have zero flyaways or static. This is one of my fav products now!!

I wasn’t a fan when I first tried this product. I did as the instructions says by mixing this styling cream with the styling serum; however, instead of blow drying and flat ironing my hair after that, I decided to go to sleep. So when I finally finished my hair the following day, it wasn’t as smooth. Not to mention the frizzing I had from sweating, since things are heating up here in California. However, I gave this product (along with the styling serum) another shot, since I had to fly to Texas for my grandma’s funeral. This time I mixed and added both products to my hair, followed by blow drying and flat ironing my hair. The results this time were WAY better! My hair was bone straight and super silky! It even lasted several days (without me re-applying any heat onto my hair) in the Texas heat & humidity before I washed my hair out there! Overall, this Mizani styling cream with the styling serum are the perfect pair! Yes there are both a bit on the pricey side, but I don’t mind paying a little extra for good quality products that’ll protect my hair from the heat while making it smooth and silky.

I thought that I would love this especially since they’re press agent shampoo and conditioner I’ll probably the best I’ve ever used. I’ll stick with my WOW for now

This one really blew me away. I applied a lightweight leave in conditioner and then used this serum as my heat-protectant and styler. My blowout was so soft and easy. And when I flat ironed it, I applied a bit more and wow the shine, wow the bounce and very little reversion even in that misty rainy weather. Highly recommend - so glad I found it! Hair type: Coily Type 4
