The Hair Towel

I bought this during the sale last year because let’s face it, it’s a $60 towel and that’s lowkey crazy. I saw reviews citing mold and thought no way, I’ve had towels hanging out since college and haven’t had an issue in the past decade with mold. Added to cart and was so thankful I did. It shortened my hair drying time by half! After a few uses I was totally on board with the price tag and no mold in sight. I raved about it to everyone with a head of hair. Flash forward to a little less than a year later as I go to wrap my hair after a shower I see little black dots all over the towel. Horrified, I realized my entire towel is now covered in dark mildew spots. The towel has always been hung up to dry in a well-ventilated area and regularly washed. I’ve returned to the idea that a $60 hair towel is insane if it can’t even last a year, but unfortunately I will be going back and repurchasing because it was that good. Wish I never got it in the first place, ignorance is bliss!

I was so excited to order this black hair towel. I would have given it five stars. But it’s not like the Aquis hair towels. So after washing my hair. I was in shock when I found it to be very different design. That being said. It did its job. Once you get the hang of it. It’s good. Just need it to be longer for my long hair.

I wish it wasn’t as perfect as it is. but it truly is that good. my hair dries so much quicker, my waves look even better. my hair is less frizzy overall after showers it’s incredible.

I too was skeptical about this product but I have that personality that needs to try things out for themselves and I am glad I did. At first, I was trying to have the band go across the top of my head and tie it up that way but I was a flailing mess lol...So after I used it the regular way it really does speed up the drying time. Plus, I love how the towel afterwards is "barely wet" but still needs to be laid out flat to dry which I just drape over my counter overnight. The first time I used it I forgot about it until 4 hours later and my hair was completely dry but a frizzy disaster so don't be like me, I use it a max of 20 ish mins while I apply my body/skin care routine and and then I apply my hair products....if I want to straighten it I have the dyson airstrait so within the hour of my shower it takes me about 10 mins to finish. Will be purchasing the pink one as well...I left 4 stars because the price is ridiculous for a hair towel and I think Crown Affair can afford to sell this at a more affordable price.

Like every other CA product I own, I love this. It dries my hair better than any other towel ever has, including towels from luxury towel brands. It's incredible and now a staple in my haircare routine.

I love how lightweight and absorbent it is, but I’ve only used this 4 times and it’s starting to fade. I’d recommend getting a lighter color

I really wanted to love this towel. It was beautiful, soft and made my hair look great but after not even two months, it grew horrible mold. My bathroom towels are all white and this was the only one with mold issues

I was super hesitant about this hair towel because I love my microfiber hair towels. It usually takes me 30-40 minutes to blow dry my hair (the Dyson airwrap has helped to cut this down)- I have long, THICK & coarse hair. I decided to try it & after just two uses, I’ve definitely noticed a difference.
