Quality doesn’t match the price.
The color is gorgeous. Feels good on my lips at first but drys out over time. The bullet broke at the base almost immediately. I continued to use with a brush for a while, but the quality just wasn’t worth the trouble.

Calling all neutral-toned autumn redheads!!!
I cannot say enough good about this lipstick!!! As a redhead autumn with neutral skin tone, I have struggled my whole life to find just the right lipstick. For a long time I thought I was cool toned because any "warm" lipstick made me look like a kid who fell into a bin of orange highlighters. Cooler shades were either neon watermelon or vampy plum. No matter what I did I could never seem to land on that perfect sweet spot of neutral undertone, soft chroma, with a hint of depth. After all these years, Merit's shade "1990" is my jackpot color! Don't let the brown color fool you; it adds a depth and dimension to the natural mauve in your lips that somehow magically does not look muddy, plus, the formulation is clean and buttery smooth. I hope they never even think of discontinuing this color!!! LOVE it!

Beautiful color and amazing texture. Does transfer relatively easy and fades fast needing to reapply every few hours or immediately after eating but formula is so hydrating and silky which is nice for my dry lips and isn’t sticky and doesn’t pill.
