BISOU BALM Sheer Matte Lipstick

I’ve had such a good experience with Rose Latte and Sucette, so I was excited to try Chocolat. The cool brown shade is beautiful, the texture is still smooth, and I love the scent, but this one feels noticeably under-pigmented. I have to do several passes to really build up the color, and it can settle into any dryness or cracks in my lips. Once layered, it gives a pretty natural look, but I wish the color payoff were closer to the other shades I’ve tried.

I tried this balm for a day because I really wanted to like it. I think it just doesn’t suit my skin tone. I have highly textured lips and this formula exaggerates the texture on my lips. I’m sure it’s a great color and formula for other polen just not me. I would probably still recommend it.

I own Betise and love that shade so much! I was automatically inclined to purchase Chocolat since it was a new shade and I felt like it would mesh well with fall. I was sadly disappointed by this specific shade though. For some reason my lips did not look powdered or have thay feathered look. idk if it's the color or my natural lip color. It did not look good though. Other then that the formula is really nice. doesn't dry my lips and builds up nicely. lasting power is not longer then a few hours but I still love the lippie and glad I picked this up to try. may not repurchase tho.

I love this as a layering color. I’ve been searching for the right product to create the Korean Blurred lip look and this works perfectly! It’s very sheer so this needs to be LAYERED and adding lip contour and some shine. Voila! Perfect lip combo.

Unfortunately, they are very drying. Too bad, because the shades are so pretty. I rather pay more for the Westman Atelier hydrobalms, because they are very hydrating and have a beautiful range of shades. I feel they give true value.

I love this product. So pretty. A little drying. The colour is so nice on south asian skin. I pair it with MUFE endless cacao. It has a nice silicone slip to it and I love lipsticks with this sort of formula. It is a bit sheer but not as sheer as I thought it would be. Has nice pigmentation. Good lasting power.

Absolutely love it leaves the perfect natural stain making your lips noticable while still looking like natural makeup and is buildable

For a matte balm this feels light and luxurious and like you have nothing on. It’s buildable and lasts and the smudgy color is so beautiful. I have multiples and hope they contour to make more cool-tones shades

I bought Calisson and am blown away by this product! It’s quite sheer, yes, but can be applied on the go without a mirror and is so wearable for everyday. The finish is natural and blotted and chic, and importantly, it doesn’t feel drying or greasy or distracting on my lips. The vanilla scent isn’t my favorite but it’s inoffensive. I really look forward to trying some other shades; I love warm toned shades and have my eyes on Mon Cheri, which swatched nicely in store. If you’re tired of lipliner and sticky glosses and lipsticks that have to be meticulously reapplied every hour, I can’t recommend the Bisou Balm enough!
