Not good conditioning action, for dry or wavy hair. My hair was a snarled mess after use. I had to use 3x more leave in conditioner. I've used it 4x now, using more product each time, with same result. There is hardly any scent to this conditioner either. I'm switching back to Morricanoil.
My hair is both very fine and super thick and wavy. I bought this conditioner because I also struggle with dryness, but unfortunately it did not work for me. I have used it three times now, and had the same issues each time: 1-Hair was super tangled afterwards and very difficult to brush out and style. 2-Hair was also somehow dry? 3-My hair felt dirty like it had a lot of buildup afterwards. The first time, I thought it was from using more detangling products in an attempt to brush my hair out. After using less than I would normally use after showering, I still find my hair feels dirty after using this conditioner.
I have long, dry 2C/3A curls that always need extra hydration. Given the claims of providing intense hydration, I was excited to use this conditioner. Using it, I didn’t feel any slip or increased hydration. Detangling was difficult, even with nearly a whole ounce of this conditioner.

I tried the Amika Hydro Rush shampoo and honestly, it’s really good if your hair is on the dry side. It makes my hair feel super soft and hydrated right after washing, like it actually drinks the moisture instead of just coating it. My hair looks smoother and less frizzy too.
This conditioner is a game-changer for dry hair. It has a thick, velvety consistency that melts into the hair almost instantly. I love that it’s infused with hyaluronic acid—you can really feel the difference in how much moisture the hair retains after it dries. It provides amazing slip, making detangling so much easier in the shower. My hair looks shiny, feels bouncy, and the frizz is significantly reduced. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all, which is hard to find in such an intensive moisture line!
