Major Skin Crème Foundation and Finishing Powder Duo

I don’t know how to describe my skin type, but I know that I don’t like for foundation to ever look like makeup/powder. This foundation is flawless and just a miracle. You won’t be disappointed.

This was recommended to me by the brand rep in store, it looks amazing on the skin! It’s great if you have texture or acne scars too. He told me they often use this on male models too (more textured skin I guess). Also I LOVE the pressed powder it comes with! Best powder I’ve tried, I’m going to give my Charlotte Tilbury powder away because I don’t even touch it anymore, the one in this duo is that good! I find it more smoothing and blurring than the CT powder. You also get a bit more powder compared to CT. I just started to hit pan on the powder so I think I’m going to buy a backup now during the spring sale. I am light neutral in most brands and shade Light 3 is a perfect match. The duo makes my skin look incredibly smooth despite my acne scars. There is a reason cream foundation is used so much in tv/film - it looks the most natural!

This makes my skin look cakey and clings to dry patches regardless of skin prep, exfoliating, etc. It has very light coverage and doesnt hide my hyperpigmentation. Within 1 hour it seperates and makes me look greasy. Worst foundation I've ever used. The only good thing I can say is they have a good range including olive tones.

I’ve really been enjoying the Patrick Ta cream foundation. It definitely leans more natural with a soft matte dry down, which I love. If you lightly apply the cream to the face and then very lightly set it, it honestly just looks like skin. If you go in with too much powder on top though, it can start to look a little makeup-y, so a light hand is key. One of my favorite parts is how convenient the compact is. Having the cream foundation and setting powder together with the mirror makes it perfect for travel and touch-ups. Overall, it’s a beautiful, natural looking base when applied lightly, and it’s become a go-to for me.

I love the lightweight formula, it’s similar to the kosas oil tint— but after it dries, it’s terrible! I don’t have dry skin but somehow this makes me look like I do. I’ve tried with and without primer and everytime I want to take it off

I picked this up for $13 on IPSY. I got the shade tan 1. For reference, I am a Fenty 420, so tan 1 is my concealer shade. Overall, this product is best worn in VERY LIGHT layers and blended with a sponge. If you put too much on, it will feel like a hot and greasy covering on your skin. I have repurposed this as my no-makeup makeup concealer, and so far, so good. It's perfect for my undereyes and blends in seamlessly with my skin's texture, so you don't see a differentiation between my bare skin and concealed areas. However, I could NEVER use this on my entire face. It doesn't really set and would feel way too hot. If you have severely dry skin or live somewhere cold, this could work for your whole face, but given the price point, I wouldn't risk it. As someone with combo/acne-prone skin, this will only be used for my undereyes.

Really like this duo. The foundation sits beautifully on my skin the powder is very underrated. I have nature dry skin and it doesn’t emphasize dry areas and it still looks great at the end of the day

Really love this. I tried it without prepping my skin at all just to see of the shade was good and it melted into my skin and lasted all day. Cannot wait to try it with properly prepping. The shade match was unreal and its very lightweight, i can still see my beauty marks which I love

Love the colour match and I do feel like it blends good but even with the loose powder, my face gets really greasy after a while. I have combination skin so maybe it’s not a fit for me. It’s disappointing because I really wanted to try this product.

First shipment, the product came cracked. 2nd shipment, I used it 4x and it started to smell. highly disappointed. felt very greasy
