Forget the Filler Lip-Plumping Line-Smoothing Tinted Lip Balm

The balm smells and tastes rotten. In the garbage this went.

I have ordered this in the color Cupid, and Sweetie. They’re both nice and have a nice minty smell. I ordered this one on sale and it was horrible and rancid smelling. I returned. I’m assuming that’s why it was on sale. I was going to order again but the reviews are still saying about the smell. Sephora rotate your products! Get rid of the old stuff and not to your customers! Normally would rate this 4 stars as it’s not hydrating enough for me to consider it a balm but I like the colors and ease of application. It’s a moisturizing lipstick to me. I would order again but not for a while to see if Sephora replaces old stock.

This lip balm has horrible smell. I am surprised more people are not mentioning this. I do like the smooth formula of the balm.

I like it. It has decent color pay off and looks like the colour shown. A very pretty pink. I didn't get any off smell. Though I have another one (cherry vanilla) that did have a kind of 'play doh' scent, not at all rancid or bad. It is hydrating and feels great on my lips. I don't know that I particularly notice any plumping or line-smoothing, but I like that it keeps my lips hydrated and gives nice colour. It lasts decently well for a hydrating balm. It is one of my daily go-to's.

I also wish I had paid more attention to the reviews - the smell is baaaad like rancid oil. Didn't get any plumping action either.

I honestly didn’t understand the hype of this after I received my order. The smell and slight taste to this balm is awful. Similar to dollar store child’s make up smell, that plastic sort of smell/taste. The color was a bit lighter than I had expected, not necessarily a good nude for medium to darker skin tones girlies. I did feel a slight minty tingle to the balm once applied but couldn’t keep it on long enough to show any “plumping” results due to the plastic smell/taste. Definitely will not purchase again.

I could not take the smell it was horrible. almost like a wax or moldy wax. so I returned for a second and same thing, not to mention I didnt find it a plumper at all.

This balm is.... fine? It has a pretty strong "lipstick" smell (noted in other reviews) but not a bad smell. The colour is fine - though maybe a bit too close to my own lip colour, as it doesn't show up super well. I didn't notice much of a plumping effect. I've had better results from less-expensive brands. I will keep this as it is pretty and easy to wear, but nothing to write home about.

It smelled funny, I will be returning it. I usually like this brand because it is clean.
