I was super excited to try out this product, unfortunately it wasn't what I had imagined. The formula itself is nice and lightweight. It's non-sticky which is always a huge plus especially when it's a lip gloss or oil. The scent is light, citrusy, like it has hints of orange. What I found disappointing, was the doe-foot applicator. It's very rigid. I found it difficult to trace the contours of the lips with it because it's so stiff. The applicator does not hold much product either. I had to dip the applicator back into the tube to get more product at least three times just to cover my entire lips. The formula has a nice shine but as far as plumping I didn't notice much of an effect. Next, the wear is closer to a glaze than a gloss. It sits heavier on lips like a sugar glaze on a donut, so you must be good with that type of texture before buying and not expect the lightness or slip of an oil. Do buy this product for plumping if plumping is a primary benefit for you. Lips are immediately filled with a tingle that lasts approximately two hours after application before settling down – you can really feel it working. The hydration level is satisfying on dry lips as the glaze thickly coats and envelopes. The product works well under or over lip color but note it will diffuse color if worn over. Having picked up Hibiscus Spritz, I hoped the blush nude hue from the tube would transfer but no such result as, again, this is not a traditional lip tint. Lastly, it is challenging getting more than a tip's worth of product from the applicator at a time. That may intentionally be the recommended amount for application, however I feel the need to use more and the sparse pickup is a deficit in my book. PUR's Glossy Lip Tint Plumping Lip Oil gives your lips good hydration and sheer but buildable color and shine. The lip gloss has skincare-infused oil in the formula which gives that natural look to your lips. There is a slight plumping effect as well. For me, I didn't notice the plumping effect so much so, however, given the shine, it did give the illusion of fuller lips. The lip gloss includes ingredients such as jojoba, vitamin E and pomegranate oil. The color is really sheer and natural looking and universally flattering. It also wasn't sticky or tacky feeling either which i liked because i hate when my hair sticks to my lips when the wind blows it in my face. This lip gloss felt comfortable and "unnoticeable" on the lips and did not tingle like some other "Plumping" glosses. One thing I did not like was the applicator itself as it didn't hold a lot of product, forcing me to dip the wand in and reapply multiple times to get enough on my lips. This is really nice! The lip oil mainly smells like vitamin E oil and some sort of citrus. It's not that bad though. It's somehow thick and thin at the same time? Thick in the sense that it's a little hard to spread, but thin in how it looks on the lips. It's not like those super heavy glosses though. It doesn't feel like an actual oil, but most lip oils don't. It's very buildable! I have brown skin and two toned lips, so I didn't think the product would look that nice on me, but it actually did. Blackberry Smash is like the perfect brownish pink shade. It might look different depending on your skin and lip tone. There is a slight burning and tingling feeling, but It's not as bad as other plumping products. The shade darkened over time. Overall, I did notice a difference!
