Potent-C Brightening Vitamin C Moisturizer

This is the first time I’ve purchased something after receiving a sample. This year I moved to a very very dry climate and that, combined with the fact I use a retinol, meant I was fighting against constantly dry and dull skin. I was really struggling to find a daily moisturizer that worked without breaking me out. This is more expensive that I usually spend on cream, but I find I can use a very small amount in the morning and at night and my skin is hydrated and bright. Such a relief to find something that actually works! My skin can be sensitive, but I have not experienced any issues with this. Packing is the one downside. Full size product is provided in bulky and wasteful container (I also worry about air exposure and having to use my finger to scoop out the product vs a squeeze tube). Would much rather a package similar to the sample.

The reviewers getting rashes are not exaggerating! I've been using this just in the morning for 4 days and I now have red bumps all over my face! And my skin looks so splotchy! I used sunscreen everyday since it is a Vitamin C product, but still broke out in a rash. I don't even have sensitive skin.

I received a sample for my birthday gift last year and I loved the product at the time. The price is salty and I waited until it went on sale to buy the full size. Extremely disappointed. I used the product for 3 days and my skin got so dry and flaky. I thought it could be just my cycle. Didn't use it for a long time and tried again for 2 days and the same results. To my disappointment, I was already past the return date according to Sephora's policy. Left on my nightstand, until I decided to try again and I got the same results. I don't understand how I got such bright and nice results with the sample and the full size is destroying my skin. I didn't even use 15% of the container and I just wish I could swap for another product.

I love this product because it keep's my skin hydrated and healthy for all day.

I dislike it when companies decide to change their formulas. If something is working well, why change it? The new formula caused a rash on my face. Although it's supposed to be moisturizing, it actually dried out my skin. Additionally, why does a product that costs $72 come in a plastic jar?

I applied it on my face two times and it left small red bumps all over my face. These bumps were very itchy and they have burning sensation. I had to use camomile oil to calm my face. Please do not purchase if you have sensitive skin.

This cream is not for me. After using for 2 times (morning and night), I had rash all over my face and neck. My skin texture turned to rough and bumps are everywhere. Please do test patch before using it.

I wish I could give this product -100 stars. After just two uses, I developed a severe rash on my face and neck. The pain and burning were unbearable, and I had to visit my doctor, who even asked if I had been burned. This cream caused nothing but harm, and I will never use it again. Returning it immediately

Keeps my skin moisturized and plumps my fine lines. It also helps even out my skin tone. I will be repurchasing!

I used the old formula for 6+ years as my only moisturizer. It was amazing. Lightened dark spots, plumped skin and help with texture. It left you looking radiant while not heavy and I only used a tiny amount as it spreads like a dream. New formula does not spread well. I have to use so much more which could be what is causing my new breakout. I have so much more texture on my skin since switching to the new formula. Also doesn’t leave the skin feeling or looking hydrated.
