After reading the other reviews figured out the scent - somewhere between sour milk and garbage. Yes it is that bad. For the smell I needed it to make me look 20 years younger. It didn’t. Only made me smell 50 years older like I’m probably rotting from the inside.
It smells awful like poop - it did help my eleven lines but wouldn’t buy again because of the smell

It causes itching and burning and has a very bad smell; this brand always uses strong chemicals.

Smell is slight, reminded me of the ferulic acid smell. I loved how it made my skin hydrated and brighter. I have rosacea and it didn’t cause me any skin irritation. Loved the result but not the smell.
Yeah, it's smelly, but I wasn't as repulsed as other people seem to be. For me it was more of a "huh, this doesn't smell great" reaction when I first opened the package. I found that the smell disappeared after wearing the mask for a while. With all the great skincare options out there these days, it really is a matter of being able to choose not to subject yourself to it. As for performance, I really liked the results. The mask fits well and stays in place. I wore it for longer than directed, until it started to feel dry (about 25 min). Eye area was more hydrated and brighter. As expected, results are largely temporary (lasting for the better part of the day). I'd love to use it consistently to see results over time, but... My biggest complaint is the price. While I really like the ingredient list on this eye mask, I can't justify nearly $10 per use, especially if you follow the directions to use 1-2 times per week. I don't have $40-80 to spend on eye masks every month.
I purchased this at my local Sephora thinking Dr.Dennis were good products. Unfortunately this one is an epic fail!! The smell is horrible. It smells like sour milk. I’m super easy with smells, but this one was awful. There are just as good brands out there that have a better smell than this mask. It worth the $9!
I would rather never do skincare again than subject myself to the scent of this mask. It smells like you took a big gulp of sour milk, and then projectile vomited into a toilet filled with explosive diarrhea. And I wish I was exaggerating. Please don’t buy this. You will regret it.
