The Hair Clips

Terrible quality, these such snapped within a few months of using them sporadically. I tried to return to Sephora, and they said there was only a 30 day warranty on them.

horrible. mine likely broke the first day, it snapped in half. and it barley holds my hair, for $58 i excepted wayyyy better

Splurged on these thinking they would outlast other clips but actually broke faster than my cheap target clips. So disappointed, overpriced junk. So wasteful

I bought these after hearing all the rave reviews for these particular clips. I, like everyone else, was put off by the price, but figured if they are really so great it would be worth the investment. They are definitely NOT worth any more than a standard hair clip. Mine have broken multiple times, and that’s not even to mention the crazy warping of the clips that renders them still usable (I guess) but again, definitely NOT worth this luxury pricing. The inside smaller prongs that are glued into the clips have fallen completely out of my clips. Luckily I was able to glue them back, but not something I would expect to have to do for clips at this price! One of the main prongs also broke off, and I don’t think that one will be able to be glued back on. They are decent clips, but not at all worth this price.

Here’s the thing… these are $50 which is insane. I bought these with my rouge discount so it was a little more bearable but I still felt shame and guilt for spending the money. Here’s the unfortunate truth - they are FANTASTIC and I use them every day. I’ve never had a clip so small hold all of my hair and look so chic at the same time. If they end up breaking like other reviews have mentioned, I’ll be devastated and angry (because again, $50 is insane). There’s truly no reason for the price, but they are great and amazing clips that I’ll be keeping (and hoping for a cheaper dupe). Crown Affair - I love your products but please take note of what customers are saying - WHY ARE PLASTIC CLIPS $50?! Side note - it’s also crazy how inexpensive their silk scrunchies are ($15 for 3 - I have 2 packs) and how expensive they made these clips. Anyways, I guess my opinion is that they’re not worth the price but I really love them - if you have $50 to throw away you’ll probably love them too.

They hold well and feel nice to use. I’ve had mine for a year. They have a tiny bit of trouble closing, but it’s not really an issue so much as a quirk. I think I would repurchase if they broke at this point. I love them for a half up half down look.

I was obsessed with them and its about a year in and they both just broke,... they are way too expensive to have them break. One, the glue came off, and the other, it stopped holding the actual hair.

One of them literally just snapped into pieces in my hand just from opening it but the one that’s lasted is my fave clip ever so a replacement of the one that broke would be nice

Terrible quality! Biggest rip off ever. I used the clip a handful of times and it broke out of nowhere. Definitely don’t waste your money. I have several emi jay clips that are much better quality.

86 bucks + taxs for 2 clips i can get at the dollar store for four bucks, what a waste of money, please save your coins and go to the drug store and buy a back of 5 for 10 bucks, nothing special about this, just paying for the name... do.not.buy
