Gentle Cleansing Foam

This is my favourite face wash ever, I will always re-buy! So refreshing, but doesn’t feel drying.

This product foams and cleanses to leave a non residue clean feeling. Also I love this he smell!

My skin is very sensitive to oil cleansing. I’m still trying to find one that is gentle enough to remove makeup and sunscreen, but does not cause breakouts. This one was great for sunscreen/makeup removal and overall cleansing. It left a clean and smooth feel on my skin after using it. Unfortunately, the very next day I had multiple breakouts on both sides of my cheeks along with small bumps on my forehead despite double cleansing. If Farmacy, beauty of joseon, and MUJI cleansing balm/oil caused breakouts for you, then you might want to avoid this one too

This product has a nice lather however it is heavily scented (to me it smelled like a cough drop, almost like menthol) so I’m not sure how gentle this actually is.

I am a self proclaimed skincare junkie and I’ve tried so many cleansers over the years. From drugstore to luxury, fragranced to fragrance free; I’ve just never found one that I truly, genuinely loved. Sulwhasoo Foam Cleanser has completely changed that for me. This cleanser just feels incredibly luxurious at not too bad of a price, without leaving my skin feeling stripped or tight. It really gives me that satisfying deep clean feeling while still leaving my skin feeling hydrated and comfortable after. The lather of the foam is rich and creamy and it feels like such a treat to use both morning and night! I also actually really enjoy the fragrance. I know fragrance can be hit or miss depending on your skin, but I personally find this one enjoyable. It’s citrusy, slightly sweet and refreshing without being too overpowering. Side note, I travel frequently for work and spend a lot of time on airplanes , so having a product that helps maintain my skin’s moisture is especially important to me. With how dry and low humidity airplane cabins can be, I’m always looking for products that cleans without contributing to that dry/dehydrated skin feeling… this cleanser just genuinely delivers on that. After years of trying different cleansers, this is one of the rate products where I can honestly say I look forward to using it every day. It somehow manages to leave my skin feeling hydrated and bright at the same time. Definitely a 5 star cleanser for me!

I bought the mini kit which contains the oil and foam cleanser. I was pleasantly surprised when it truly did remove all of my makeup. Many say that and I’m left with stained towels! This works as promised. It leaves skin so soft, definitely a great choice if you want a double hitter, makeup removal and moisture. Paired with the foam as directed is like a spa experience. I highly recommend it and have already repurchased to the larger size.

At first I liked how clean this product made my skin but then it gave me a really bad allergic reaction. Hives on the neck and itchy eyes. I stopped using it for a few weeks and when I used it again the allergic reaction was even worse!

I originally got a sample of this product and loved it enough to buy the full size. It has a strong scent but I find it to be really nice especially in the shower. 1 pump goes such a long way that the full size lasted me three months and this will not dry you out.

This is by far my favorite oil cleanser on the market. The scent and level of cleansing is elite. Yes it’s expensive, but it feels luxurious. Well worth the splurge!

I have been using Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam for almost two years now, and it has become a staple in my skincare routine. I have very dry skin, and finding a cleanser that is gentle while still leaving my face feeling clean and refreshed has been harder than one might think. This cleanser has a lovely ginger-like scent and feels luxurious to use. It leaves my skin feeling soft, comfortable, and clean without that tight, stripped feeling that many cleansers can cause. 🌿 The only reason it doesn't earn a full five stars from me is that it needs a little help when I've spent the day covered in sunscreen. On those days, I typically use a First Aid Beauty cleanser first to remove the sunscreen and then follow with this as my second cleanse. I imagine those who wear a full face of makeup, including foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, and sunscreen, may find that a double cleanse works best for them as well. I prefer a minimalist approach and usually go for a natural, glowy, glass-skin look, so this cleanser is perfect for my everyday routine. It has performed so well that I've purchased Sulwhasoo gift sets for family members, and a couple of them have become Sulwhasoo fans too! 💛 If you have dry skin and are looking for a gentle cleanser that leaves your skin feeling refreshed rather than stripped, this one is definitely worth trying.
