Brow Freeze® Gel Extreme-Hold Lifting & Laminating Clear Gel

This product is extremely flakey. Every time I put it on it never fails I have white dried up gel showing all through out my eyebrow.

Leaves visible white residue. Cannot use if you apply foundation first as then then you have skin colored (from foundation) flakes all over the eyebrows. Pretty bad honestly lol but does keep the eyebrows in place

I am ready to sing the praises of this brow gel because I genuinely LOVE it. This has been my holy grail for 2–3 years, and I honestly have no plans to stop using it. A little backstory: when I was a teenager, I did A LOT to my brows — over-plucked, trimmed, and experimented with them in every possible way. 😂 Now my brow hairs are extremely coarse, stubborn, and grow in every direction except the one I want! Getting them to stay in place used to take forever. I even tried hairspray before good brow gels became a thing. I also get my brows laminated from time to time because my hair is so unruly. Lamination helps, but once it wears off, I still need something strong enough to control them. Brow Freeze is my absolute lifesaver. This gel has survived every possible crash test. 😂 I can touch or rub my eyebrows, change clothes, go about my day — they stay EXACTLY where I put them. One time I accidentally fell asleep with my makeup on, and the next morning my brows were STILL basically perfect. I couldn’t believe it! I also love that I can recreate that laminated, super-slicked look when my lamination wears off. And most importantly: NO white residue! 🙌 The brush is a huge plus for me too. It’s firm enough to actually grab and move my coarse hairs exactly where I want them. I’ve tried Benefit’s clear brow gel, and while I think it’s a good product for softer, more manageable brows, it simply doesn’t give me the same hold. The brush is softer, and my stubborn hairs need more control. If you have thick, coarse, unruly brow hairs, PLEASE try this. I’ve recommended it to so many people and have received so many compliments on my brows. For my brows, this isn’t just a good brow gel. It’s THE brow gel. 10/10. Absolute holy grail. ❤️

There is a learning curve. You do need the tiniest amount to hold your brows in place. I usually scrape the wand back in the tube. I love the longevity and do prefer this over the rare beauty one. Perhaps the applicator could be better and dispense less product but still this is a must have for me. I've noticed that over time just like mascaras this product changes its consistency. It does get thicker so my next repurchase will be the mini so I can finish it before the consistency changes. The key to use this is less is more otherwise it will be white and flaky.

After using this product over a few weeks I don't like it. So much comes out of it at once.

If you’re going for the “I styled my eyebrows with white glue” look, save your money and grab an Elmer’s glue stick from the dollar store instead. This brow gel is incredibly clumpy, leaves visible white residue, and dries into a crusty, flaky finish.

I have dark brows for context. I originally loved this brow gel when I first purchased it but after a few weeks, the product started to get clumpy on the wand. I can clean it off and start fresh but the applicator gets clumpy again shortly after I do this. It has a great hold and if it's not clumpy on the wand it doesn't flake. But once the product gets clumpy, it applies way too much to the wand and then doesn't disperse it evenly on my brows leaving extra product that flakes. I'm super disappointed cause I wanted to love this product.

I would not recommend this product at all unfortunately. It is very thick, leaves a white residue and flakes more and more as the day goes on. There is so much product left to use, but it has actually seems to have gotten thicker and Cooper- thus creating more residue and flakes.

I really like this brow gel and would give it 4 stars. It gives a strong hold and helps keep my brows lifted and in place, which I love. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it can leave a little white residue in my makeup, but honestly, it’s less than other brow gels I’ve tried.
