This is some kind of crazy magic skin cream! I have highly reactive skin and chronic idiopathic urticaria. My skin got damaged during a chaotic move that left me without my regular products for a week and exposed to dense wildfire smoke. It resulted in the worst case of dermatitis mixed with hives I have ever had. I tried everything - my regular cream (great for everyday, not enough for repair), vaseline, other repair creams (cue more breakouts and burning), gentle exfoliation (when the extreme peeling started), antihistamine creams, betaderm (I have my doctors permission to use sparingly on the face). I got some minor improvement, but my skin still burned after every shower and the rash returned every night. I used this cream 2 times yesterday, fresh out of the shower and again before bed and then today I woke up bump free! I just had a warm shower and for the first time in a month I did not get my usual post-shower flare up. No burning skin, no bumps, no redness, flakes or itch, no sign of acne either (my face doesn’t like heavy creams). A little goes a long way, making the price more digestible. It is quite thick, but I found it spreads easily and feels light once applied.

This is an expensive jar of glycerin. Its mostly glycerin so it looks gelatinous which isn't a problem if the product was actually good. Normally sleeping masks are very healing for my dry sensitive skin... this is just occlusive withouy any healing properties. Squalene and ectoin are not enough to heal my skin. I’ve been using this for about 3 years now. I absolutely love it. There’s no gross scent which is a huge positive. It keeps my face hydrated until morning. A little goes a long way. One jar lasts me about a year.
this is my nightly staple. it’s so soft and leaves your skin perfectly hydrated, one thing is it will pill if you use with make up in my experience so i prefer it on a no make up day or nighttime moisturizer in the last step of my routine.
I wanted to love this but it wasn't hydrating enough for me.
It’s okay. Makes your skin feel very soft but not as moisturizing as I’d hoped. Skin feels dry shortly after using. More of a gel-cream texture, not rich.
This product is a HG for dryness. My skin is super dry from winter and starting retinoids. I use this over the retinol at night and wake up to no dry patches. I also use this under makeup products and calms rosacea too. It’s a miracle!!!
It was love at first sight. If you ever experienced compromised skin barrier you know what it's like to have dry, flaky, itchy, irritated bumpy skin. This was not only soothing but also ultra hydrating. It repaired my skin overnight and it felt so much better the very next morning. It'll be a staple in my routine going forward!
I usually come to a point in my skincare cycle where my skin barrier becomes compromised and every product I use causes burning and redness. I needed something that would soothe discomfort while accelerating the healing process, and I came across this night moisturizer. It gave the relief I was looking for, along with a beautiful smooth texture that is a pleasure to blend in. The product is lighter and more breathable than expected, yet lasts through the night. It worked overnight to strengthen the delicate skin in my t-zone, taking away redness and smoothing the skin. No breakouts or clogged pores so far. The price is high for me, but justified by the performance of the product. I don't usually repurchase products in the moisturizer category because I'm always looking to try something new, but as far as rich night treatments go, this product is too good to beat.
Honestly? I put this on at night and it feels nice and thick with great coverage, but it's how I wake up with it that makes all the difference. Even though I have a tendency to be a stomach sleeper and am constantly getting awoken or lovingly smacked in the face by a young child, I wake up with dewey skin. It is as though the cream transforms overnight as it's working its magic. I'm highly picky about product, but this is my GO-TO night cream.
