Ultra-Blur Talc-Free Waterproof Translucent Pressed Setting Powder

After using this powder for several months, I realize that no other pressed powder compares. It is silky smooth and makes for a flawless application and makeup look. I enjoy how smooth and silky my skin looks after using it. It is also a good powder to touch up your makeup.

This is by far my favorite setting powder I have tried. Many powders feel cakey on my maturing skin but this one melts in and feels smooth. I like applying it with a big fluffy powder brush which allows even full coverage. I highly recommend this powder for anybody, but especially those of us with skin texture issues or are getting older.

I think the loose translucent powder is way better. I will keep the product because of the price point. It started getting cakey over my foundation and dried out my skin perhaps not the product i was looking for. I really wanted the product to go over my foundation and matte it down a bit.

It made my face itchy, doesn’t blur, not translucent :/ the only thing I like about this is the compact, mirror, and sponge applicator because it looked really portable and compact . But very disappointing !

I can’t comment on how it performs on dry skin but it performs very well on oily-combination skin, like mine. It keeps my skin matte without drying it out and it stays on matte all day. Does not look cakey and does not settle into lines or pores. It does what it says it does - it blurrs out skin imperfections. Really great powder. Unlike other powders by Laura Mercier, this one does not contain talc and dimethicone , thankfully (these ingredients break me out terribly). I would highly recommend it for people with oily skin. It works beautifully with LM matte tinted moisturizer.

Horrible in every which way. only .23 oz of product for $52 compared to .7 loose for $48. My favorite powder is their loose ulta blur translucent so I was super happy to see the pressed powder. I tried this during the Sephora sale instead of grabbing a loose powder, what a big mistake. Now I’ll wait until fall to get my loose powder with my rouge code. The packaging is incredibly cheap. The box it comes with is 10x more luxurious than the compact. There’s holes on the bottom so any powder off the puff will fall into your makeup bag. I can’t wait for Sephora to open up Monday morning so I can return this and get my money back. Huge L by LM

Quality matches the price for the most part. I tend to look too shiny after applying sunscreen and skincare, this powder helps blur dark spots and gives my skin a more even and matte look. Unfortunately the compact itself is lightweight plastic and feels kinda flimsy. Great product, but chopped packaging.

It gives a light but wonderful coverage with an amazing finish. I’ve tried other brands because this one is a bit pricey, but nothing has compared. I’m now on my third purchase of this powder.
