I’ve used this on & off for the past few months , I’ve come to the conclusion that I absolutely hate it. It does have a nice finish when you first apply it, but it gets shiny again and settles into fine lines so quickly! I’m young and don’t have wrinkles yet but this powder ages me 10000%
I bought this item in store after two different employees recommended it to me. One of the employees put it on me with a brush and it looked so good initially. When I got home and tried it myself, the powder seem to have only lasted 2-3 hours before I started to look oily and have shine. Had a very beautiful finish but definitely not oil controlling.
very nice formula, convenient, and doesn’t make me look too pale or dry out my skin. however! this shade (translucent tan) does lean a bit warm and can sometimes appear *too* orange or golden for me.
I really liked the casing, but this pressed powder was heavy and really accentuated my fine lines, even with fully prepped skin. It just wasn’t for me.
This is a really nice powder for dry skin. It’s very blurring without looking super powdery. I also think the packaging is really nice. I just wish that the compact was smaller, I’m sure the sponge is useful to someone but I’d rather stack the puff on the powder than to have larger packaging.
This is my go‑to pressed powder for quick, natural touch‑ups. It blurs beautifully without looking heavy, dry, or cakey—even when reapplied during the day. I keep the full size in my purse and also own the mini, which is perfect for travel or smaller clutches. I love that both sizes include a powder puff, which feels surprisingly rare and very thoughtful. The packaging is luxe, the finish is smooth and airbrushed, and it never looks like I added more makeup—just more polish.
Love this stuff. I think it works great. I do kinda think my Kosas one works betterish but the packaging is better on this one since that one breaks so easy. I do like it tho I think it’s nice even for the price.
Settles in my lines and exaggerates dryness under my eyes. For such an expensive powder not worth it at all. Charlotte tilbury is better
I love this powder! As a dry combo girl, this HITS. I live in a dry climate most of the time and this works even when it gets humid or when I’ve travelled to more humid areas. A little goes a long way so tap excessiff
This powder is trash. Sounds harsh, but this was a total miss from Hourglass a brand that hardly ever misses. It clings to dry patches like no other. To give a reference I’m oily/combo & I feel like whether I use a blender or sponge it still looks cakey.
