Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm with Maracuja Oil

I got this today and it's the best lip balm I've ever had. I'll be using this everyday for sure

I love how hydrating it is and I love the sheerness of the color and I like to pair it with a lipliner!

Purchased several of YSL candy butter balms in the past and they were pretty good. But over time my lips may have become more sensitive and they may have changed the formula.

This is a very delicate product and will melt with your own body heat. You definitely need a liner or this will travel outside your lip line. Very creamy with a light color payoff. Not worth the hype but if you have the money to spend, then try it.

For the price, I expected something more hydrating and long-lasting. Unfortunately, it feels more like a basic chapstick and didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. I’m giving it 3 stars because it could work better for others, but it wasn’t the right fit for me. I may try the oil-based version to see if that works better.

The balm broke the third time I used it, which was disappointing. So my review for the product when I could apply it is: it did make my lips soft and helped minimize lines when I wore lipstick over it. This shade goes on clear, so I had to wear lipstick over it got have any color.

Whoever made this, God bless you - haha. Stunning sheer color, hydrating formula (i’m a picky broad), smells great, great formula, and beautiful/sturdy/secure packaging. Worth the expense.

I received a mini sample of this in shade 1B, and while it’s lovely and feels great on, the formulation is too soft for the bullet format. It got mushy and slid off of the base on first use, so I’d be hesitant to buy the full size. It also smells a little like mango, which isn’t my favorite but is also not completely off-putting.

I received a deluxe sample of this and was excited to try it. Unfortunately, this left my lips feeling dry after it wore off. And for someone who already suffers from chapped lips, I don’t need a product making it worse. The color and tint were nice. I didn’t notice any plumping effect either. Would definitely not purchase.

found this after having them for two years and what i will say besides the packaging the texture is so soft and balmy and glossy but wears down through eating i do think ysl products are worth it if you love a cushiony balmy stain !
