Lip Grip Peptide Priming Treatment

I really like this except it’s pricy. It did help keep my lipstick on and my liner from running. I really appreciated how smooth it went on and worked well with my lipsticks and my glosses. It did make my lips look smoother. It is hydrating, but after several test, I found that if I put a light layer of hydration on my lips and let it sink and then applied the lip primer it worked so much better at keeping my lips hydrated.

This product has dramatically change the way I wear my lipstick. This helps my lip liner and lipstick not only stay on for longer than it would without this product, but has also nourished my dry lips. Sarah has done it again !

This does nothing. Lip color still bleeds into vertical lines and doesn’t seem to last any longer than without this treatment.

Did not fill lines or make lipstick last longer. Made lipstick look lighter and less pigmented.

I wear this everyday and apply during my skincare routine.

The primer feels good going on my lips and leaves them feeling moisturized but not shiny like a lip balm. It gives more of a matte finish. It helps lipstick adhere better, and it helps to extend staying power. I didn’t really notice any blurring of lines, but I don’t necessarily have any to begin with. My only complaint with this lip primer is that after the second time of using, the primer stick came loose and fell out of the tube as I was opening it. I was able to push it back in, put I have to be careful each time when I open it now to make sure it doesn’t fall out.

The grip worked better for me as a lip liner situation. At first I tried it underneath my lip color and I found my lipstick to not stay where I put it. It was great as a moisturizer but not my fave for under lip color.

This product surprised me. The texture is lightweight yet firming, and it instantly softens the appearance of the fine lines around my lips. I like using it under lipstick, especially matte formulas, because it smooths everything out without feeling waxy or heavy. It also layers well and doesn’t cause any pilling. After a few uses, I noticed a subtle plumping effect that made my lips look fuller and more youthful. It’s not a dramatic change, but it enhances the overall finish of any lip product I wear on top.

This is a really good lip prep step. It blurs my lip lines and makes them look and stay smooth. I don’t think that it necessarily prolongs the wear time of my lipstick, but I do feel that it makes it look more seamless and as mentioned smooth rather than settling in my lipstick lines.

This lip primer is perfect for getting lipstick color to really pop and stay on for a whole day. Only thing is, I wish it moisturized my lips a little more.
