The formula is amazing — non-sticky, and my skin feels so soft. Just be careful with the scent you choose. I didn’t have a chance to test it before ordering, and Santal smells like parsley on me.
This lotion is absolutely divine, the results are amazing. My skin is significantly more plump from regular use, a little goes a long way. The lotion absorbs leaving behind no residue. The scent is divine. But I do not love the package. The bottle design leaves a lot of “product” behind. I am tapping, turning the bottle upside down to get Avery last bit 😅 hydrated
I started to lean into woody fragrances and wanted a lotion to pair with fragrances such as Mohave Ghost and Santal 33. I find this works perfect! I also use it to layer under my woody florals. The texture is thick and hydrating and you can definitely smell the scent!
There's so much product left in this bottle when the pump stops pumping! It's quite a pain and can be a waste.
Not as hydrating for my body. Let my body feeling dry still and seemed light.
The lotion itself made my dry skin feel soft and silky, but one issue I had is that I got bumps on my legs a few hours after applying the lotion. I agree with most of the reviews that said the lotion takes a bit of time to absorb into the skin. As for scent, I did not like it. The scent is pretty green and woody, so it dries into a scent that smells like a spa. It reminds me of eucalyptus. I like sandalwood and I mistook santal to mean the same thing. It is not! I returned and I may try the unscented one instead.
I read many reviews before purchasing and finally decided to take the plunge! I’m so glad I did! I have lupus, Sjrogan’s, and Rheumatoid Arthritis so my skin is awful. This lotion is amazing! I usually hate lotion because I feel so greasy afterwards; but this lotion is not greasy! It absorbs quickly and my skin is left feeling soft and smooth. It did not irritate my skin and has a lovely scent, though not overpowering. I’ve noticed a big difference in the moisturizer in my skin and I love it. Highly recommend.
The scent is rather strong, and although I don't prefer that, I think it smells amazing. The sandalwood definitely stands out, so you've got to like that. I do trust that necessaire is committed to ensuring sustainability and quality when sourcing its oils (I hope that's true...lol) ..another reason I'm ok with using a scented product. Lastly I find it does such an impressive job of moisturizing that it helps in overlooking the fragrance, which mellows out once it's absorbed. Pairs nicely with the Santal Body Wash. Rather pricey, yes...but worth the occasional splurge, or the need for a luxe gift.
Smells amazing, I love other products from this brand, and it's a decent value. However the only things that bothered me are that it doesn't soak in easily, it takes quite a bit of blending into the skin. It also tends to "booger" at the end of the pump nozzle (where the lotion dries up and turns into a chunk).
This lotion is basically the perfect lotion—absorbs quickly, moisturizers all day, doesn’t leave a film on your skin. Absolutely love it! The only thing is the scent; I adore the santal scent and it’s exactly what you’d want if that’s a fave scent of yours, but the scent is STRONG. Like…overwhelming. I use this lotion only when I plan to forego perfume or any others scents.
