I like using this as a first step in my skincare routine. It takes off my bronzer and blush well without leaving my skin feeling dry. It hasn’t caused any acne either!
I found this product was too harsh for my skin, too drying, but also burned my eyes. I was looking for a more affordable micellar water that did not have anything in it I knew I was sensitive to, but sadly this did not work out for me at all.
Oily, had to rewash after using it. Scent is SO strong. Who cleans with an oily cleanser? Who thought changing the formula to this was a good idea?
This burns my eyes! As well, on my second use, this caused me to get a red rash everywhere it touched my skin. Packaging is also not good - is in a “squeeze” style bottle, but the mini size is too rigid to squeesnto get product out.
I HATE IT!! One star…sure this will take off your basic face makeup but don’t expect anything more. I wore waterproof mascara and this took off NONE OF IT…yes read that again NONE…well maybe a tiny black smudge. Anyway, I typically use an affordable drugstore micellar water. In a truly vulnerable moment, I opted for the Sephora micellar water. WELL MY MISTAKE. It burns so bad so so bad. Ouch. And seriously…it won’t remove waterproof mascara…I wasn’t asking for much.
I will not lie, this will burn your eye real bad if you over saturate the wipe you’re using. However it gets mascara off amazingly well so I will continue to use. And on 1/2 eyes I was able to escape without any irritating my eye
Miss the old formula, this new formula is nothing special - doesn’t work.
I’ve been using this for a couple days now, and I love it! It doesn’t irritate my eyes like other removers do, and it is super easy to use. Even though it is small, it lasts long!
This is a cute and easy travel size of pre-mixed micellar water/ makeup remover. It doesn't need to be shaken up to use, which feels nicer to use and also means it is consistent with each use. For me it takes off my base makeup, classic lipsticks, and eyeshadow easily. For liquid lipsticks that are a bit worn in, it takes a few swipes but works. I would NOT suggest this for mascara, liner, or anything waterproof on the eyes, it definitely stings a lot when it gets in your eye. (And it gets in easily of you press at all)
I was on the hunt for a new makeup remover and this was inexpensive and I've liked other Sephora skincare but I should have noticed in the ingredient list how high fragrance was. The smell is strong and not pleasant; I'd say like a scented nail polish remover. As soon as I used a small amount on a cotton pad, my skin felt burnt and was red for a day. I'm glad I patch tested it on a small area.
