Superfruit Star Lightweight Hair Styling Oil

I really like this hair oil and I keep rebuying it so I thought it was time I left a review. It smells very nice, a light fruity scent that works with my perfume. If you want unscented this is not for you. It also has a little bit of styling abilities, like it's not gel or mousse but it can keep some flyaways in place. It also makes my hair feel softer without too much greasiness. I am always playing with my hair, so I need that. If you are looking for a hair oil for shine, I don't think this is for you though because I don't notice any change in shininess. It's more for styling and softness.

This oil is light weight and does not leave your hair greasy or weighed down. I'm in perimenopause and my hair was so dry and frizzy. I put 1 pump into my hands and run it through my hair while it's damp from mid length to ends. Then I spray a little of the Amika Frizz Me Not leave in and blow dry my hair. My hair feels unbelievably soft, shiny, and frizz free.

I purchased this product because I was obsessed with the smell. Now it doesn’t make my hair feel good in any way. It gave it little gloss but not great.

Wow! As I age, I've noticed my hair getting thinner and breaking easily. It's awful. I'm concerned. I tried this product last night and it really made a difference. No more frizz, feels soft and smooth. I might just buy the full size.

I really like this hair oil, it’s lightweight and didn’t make my fine hair greasy. However, the bottle absolutely sucks. Anytime I brought it anywhere it would leak around the pump. Even when using it would leak around the pump as well. I felt like I wasted a lot of the product from leaking.

I’m super picky with hair oils and sometimes I get ahead of myself when I feel an oil in my hands before trying it on my hair. My favorite is the Kenra gloss one. I gave this Amika one a try when I ran out of my favorite one. SHE THICCC…but in all the right ways. I have a lot of fine hair, and wear 24” sew in extensions. I live in the high desert where everything is dry all the time. My hair needs some extra moisture and this Amika oil does the trick. It’s thick enough to hydrate, but does not weigh down my hair. A little goes a long way. When I travel to sea level/humid climates, this oil has truly become the end all be all for humidity. My hair does not frizz much, if at all, and boy am I prone to it. The scent is a personal choice, I like it and it is unnoticeable after an hour. My hair is so shiny and silky looking when I use this.

I’ve only used this product a handful of times but it’s Amazing!!!! The smell is fabulous and light and so is the hair oil itself! I have VERY fine hair and this makes it look shiny but not greasy! You dont need a lot so the price is fair!

I have naturally fine and thin hair and most styling products weigh my hair down but this product is actually really lightweight. It smells so good and it doesn't make my hair greasy at all. But it's unfortunately not effective. My hair gets slightly less frizzy after I apply, but later in the day it feels like I didn't put anything on at all. It needs to be reapplied multiple times. Also the bottle isn't great, the nozzle gets stuck and oil gets stuck in it too. It's super expensive for a product that doesn't work at all. Very disappointing.

I love this hair oil, I have fine hair strands and I’ve been struggling to find one that doesn’t make my hair greasy or weighed down and this doesn’t AT ALL. The shine and heat protection is amazing when I run out of the mini I’ll definitely buy the full size.

It leaves my hair so shiny and I get compliments when wearing it!! It doesn’t leave my hair greasy which is something I experience a lot with other hair oils
