it's very good at warding off odor and wetness (if you're not in too high temps for a long time, be reasonable). It also didn't give me a skin rash or reaction, which is something I need to watch out for as someone with sensitive skin.
Holy grail! If anyone has ever had rashes, itchiness or redness from natural or non natural deodorant then this is your answer. I am super sensitive and have been so grateful to find this option.
I always used aluminium-based deodorant and wear a lot of white clothing. After moving to the USA, I think my deodorant started reacting with the water and causing yellowing in the underarm area. Switching to aluminium-free has resolved that issue. I expected aluminium-free deodorant to work less effectively, but I actually think this works better. I’ve had zero bad smell since switching, even after the gym. I’ve tried natural deodorants before with no success, but this one is great. I really like that it’s fragrance-free. I think deodorant fragrance mixing with body odour isn’t pleasant, and this keeps everything neutral. Just no smell at all, which I prefer. I plan to keep using this going forward. Apparently there is no such thing as an aluminium 'detox' but I think that there is a transition period. You just have to stick with it for a little and it will work great!
Not effective as deodorant for my B.O. and gives me rashy armpits!
I couldn’t get the Drunk Elephant deodorant anywhere and tried this. It works. No rash, no smells.
Ten seconds after applying this deodorant my armpits were on absolute fire. I tried to work through the pain, hoping it would go away. But after five minutes I had to wash it off. My armpits are still burning even though it is washed off my skin.
My favorite deodorant ever. It’s the only aluminum‑free one that truly works and keeps odor away, even in the heat. The packaging feels luxurious, and I’ve noticed my underarms getting lighter since using it.
After seeing the reviews I was hesitant to try it, because I am prone to having bad reactions to most deodorants. My underarms are so sensitive and it's hard to find a deodorant that doesn't contain aluminum or fragrance but still works. This checks all of my boxes and my underarms love it! My underarms are moisturized and completely smell free. Best of all, it doesn't irritate my skin at all! I had used and loved the Drunk Elephant deodorant for years but wanted something that was a solid stick deodorant instead of a cream formulation. This is the perfect product, try for yourself!
Peformance is great, but this will turn the armpits of your white shirts gray!
Horrible smell. I didn’t realize it was the “fragrance free” one when I ordered, but I’ll never order again 😭
