Should have trusted the 1 star reviews regarding the smell. it is too earthy and makes the whole experience very unpleasant. Also, there are a lot of raving reviews to make it a popular product but these are reviews for the eye cream, not this cream.
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve been using this eye cream for some weeks and my undereyes feels very hydrated. I have yet to experience the firming effects but it has definitely helped with brightening my undereyes. The progress is slow, but you have to stay consistent. The only drawback for me is the fragrance, it doesn’t have much but does have a faint algae smell to it which I’m not really a fan of.
Purchased this to try as i am 68. Thought it would do wonders for my aging skin. Loved the way it felt on my skin although it felt somewhat oily. Unfortunately my skin broke out with this product so had to discard. I'll go back to Josie Maran whipped argan oil face butter as I had no problem with it.
Defective product… I was excited to try Josie Maran for the first time but I was not expecting such low quality products. It smells horrible, and looks emulsified. The product leaked a weird substance all over my order…. I am really disappointed because I paid almost 200 dollars and now it’s all messed up… It smells
For reference , I received this product in exchange for my honest review, my opinions are factually true to what I experienced. Loving this body butter! I am using this at night as it does contain retinol and I wake up with really smooth skin. Anything that contains retinol you should be diligent about using sunscreen just a psa! Anyway, the body butter absorbs amazing and is a great addition to night-time body care. Will be restocking this one!

I absolutely loved trying Josie Maran’s Pro-Retinol Body Butter complementary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. It is unscented and thick. Great for anyone with allergies to fragrance. It also does not sting me skin like some products with retinol. It smooths into the skin seamlessly and absorbs straight away without leaving any nastiness behind. I highly trust the ingredients from Josie Marian becuse she’s alway trying to keep them “clean”. Highly recommend this Body Buttee by Josie Maran!

It's perfect if you're in a hurry because it applies really well and works well with concealer. It has no scent and the texture is very smooth. I love that it has coffee extract because it's great for when you wake up in the morning with puffy under-eye circles. I recommend it.

I love Josie Maran products! This eye cream is an excellent addition. It’s very rich and perfectly hydrates the sensitive area around eyes. The retinol is great for beginners, doesn’t cause any irritation. And of course, beautiful packaging.
I have been using Josie Maran's Pink Algae Pro-Retinol Brightening + Firming Eye Cream for a couple of weeks now, and so far I'm enjoying it! I appreciate that this retino! does not make my skin sting or itch at all. It has been very gentle, and I can already see a small improvement to my eye area. It has a thicker texture, but it blends into my skin really well. I'm excited to continue using it and see what other results I can achieve with it!
