If you like the original formula because it helps to detangle your fine hair, do not switch to this product. It’s worse in every way, and somehow makes my hair feel greasier

I have long, chemically treated hair that’s become finer over time. Previously, I leaned into very hydrating formulas—but they consistently left my hair looking limp and weighed down. After doing some research, I switched to formulas designed specifically for fine hair, and this combination has worked extremely well for me. OUAI Fine Hair Shampoo & Conditioner Lightweight and easy to rinse Doesn’t weigh hair down Great for regular washes This is my go‑to for everyday use. My hair feels clean, soft, and has noticeably better volume without feeling dry or stripped. Olaplex Shampoo & Conditioner (Fine Hair) More nourishing and treatment‑like Slightly heavier, but still suitable for fine hair Leaves my hair feeling stronger and smoother I use Olaplex about 2–3 times per month, almost like a built‑in treatment wash. My routine: Wash every 3–4 days Alternate two wash cycles with OUAI, then one wash with Olaplex The result is hair that feels soft, has great volume, and—most importantly—doesn’t get frizzy, even in summer humidity. I’m very happy to have found this balance, and I plan on sticking with this routine long‑term.
Tried this out after using the original Olaplex formula for years. I found this combo (fine shampoo and conditioner) very drying. Glad I did not purchase the full size.

This conditioner has worked wonders on my hair. I love it conditions it really well , making my hair really hydrated. My hair feels and looks so much more healthy after using it now for a couple weeks. I think this works amazing for fine hair, making it more fuller and healthier. The scent of it is really nice , it's suble and it stays in it even after I wash, making me feel very confident. I love a shampoo and conditioner that makes me feel more confident in my hair. I have less fly aways too! It's amazing. Overall im very satisfied and will repurchase.
First time using this No 5 bond maintenance conditioner and I am in love with this product. This absolutely blew me away and how good and healthy my hair looks and feels after just one use of using this product. My hair is much more manageable and has volume Eve after using conditioner because usually when I use conditioner my hair becomes very limp and had no volume. I honestly feel like it sticks to my scalp sometimes. This conditioner smells amazing apart from being very effective, even after rinsing it off my hair smells so good. It is also very concentrated so you will not need to use very much of it. A little bit goes a long way. If you are looking for a hair product that works well this is your chance to give it a try. I promise you will not regret it.

There is definitely something to be said when you find the right product for your type of hair. The Olaplex No. 5 has save my fine damaged hair and bringing back bounce and a healthy shiny to it. I cannot why I didn’t think of using a conditioner that was more suitable for my hair type before. Love this lightweight, very hydrating conditioner and would recommend it,
I wish I read the reviews before purchasing this over the original formula. I bought this because the larger bottles of the original formula were out - this made my hair super tangled in the shower and completely dried it out
I had thinning hair prior to use .tried this product because my daughter recommended it for hair growth. It made my hair extra dry/ brittle. So i Used it with #6 and the leave in daily spray. My middle hair completely cut off down to the roots. Felt my hair middle/ top burning when the sun hit it..had to return these products and went back to my original hair products. Seems like this product is not good for everyone's hair type.
