Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner for Fine, Dry, Thinning Hair

Smelled so good but made my hair so brittle and dry! It also made my hair feel squeaky clean but then oily fast. It was a confusing experience. I had higher hopes for it

This combo definitely lived up to the hype. Great for my wavy hair. Hydrating, yet not heavy, great for volume without drying out the hair. LOVE the scent, so clean. Would definitely repurchase and recommend.

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner, plus their pre-wash oil, for a year now. My hair used to be big, thick, long hair that was a stylist's dream, but long-term use of medications for chronic illnesses reduced it to incredibly thin, constantly shedding, dry, and prone to breakage hair that I was losing at an alarming rate. I tried every product, trick, and tip that was supposed to improve my hair's health and longevity, but nothing worked, and I thought I was doomed to having to get wigs soon. On a last-ditch splurge around the holidays, I bought a Fable & Mane kit that came with the shampoo, conditioner, prewash oil, and finishing oil, and I haven't looked back since. My hair gets healthier every time I use the regimen, and I only wash my hair once a week. I only use the prewash oil once a month, which I put on and sleep with a cap on my head to wash it in the morning, and it saved my hair. I no longer shed large amounts of hair and it doesn't get as frizzy or break so easily as it used to and it is no longer dry. My scalp gets minorly oily after a week so I wash it, but otherwise I have no complaints. The most significant difference for me, though, is that it brought my natural wave and curl back to my hair. I thought it was lost forever. But after one use and no scrunching on my part, I had curls and waves again. It's on the expensive side, but I only use it once a week, and not a large amount, because my hair hasn't grown past my shoulders in a decade, at least. I know this product may not be for everyone, especially given the amount of oil it adds to your hair, but it's a winner for me. I have light, fluffy hair with waves, and it doesn't tangle that often. I will always buy this haircare system from now on.

This stuff makes my hair feel super shiny and smooth and clean and I like that it’s “clean” but it takes like 10 pumps of the shampoo to create enough lather for my hair. Same with the conditioner. I wish it was a better value but I just can’t sustain the price point with the limited amount of time it will last. :( I have long fine hair FWIW.

Finally I can have soft, smooth hair that is full and healthy. I have naturally super straight fine hair and I need clean products for my health and this is an exciting find.

Absolutely amazing product and such a great way to introduce yourself to them with this duo! I swear it leaves my hair feeling amazing, and helps my other volume products give my hair lasting volume! I did think it was glass like someone else here said, but still happy none the less!

I tried a sample of the shampoo and conditioner. Yes, they are volumizing, but also a little drying. I think the shampoo might be ok with a mask instead of conditioner. I did not care for the scent. I had to add a lot of water to get it to lather, but the bigger problem was "spreadability;" it was hard to distribute the shampoo through my hair.

I wish I had listened to the other reviews. While this shampoo & conditioner smells amazing, the shampoo does not lather well. I have to use a lot of it and add water as I’m going to get some suds. I just don’t feel like my hair is very clean after washing. For the price, it’s a disappointment. I prefer the Dae or Wella shampoo I was using previously.

My hair was already dried out from highlights, and I was hoping this product would help. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with this product at all. It made my hair stick together and feel even drier and more damaged. Very disappointing experience.
