I thought I had a defective sponge until I saw other reviews. The photo is after using it for about two weeks and washing it ONCE. Horrible What a waste of money. I should return it but I threw away the nod thinking I wouldn't HAVE
Horrible! And I love Patrick ta. Absorbs too much foundation and does not keep that shape at all. Threw it away

This is the best blending sponge I have ever used in my life!!!! About to order a new one.
I really like this sponge; however, I think it needs to come with cleaning instructions. As other users have had, I had the issue where the sponge wouldn't regain its shape, but after using a cleansing oil (I use Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleaning Oil), that issue no longer occurs. If you figure out how to clean it in a way that allows it to regain its shape, you'll love it. (If it wasn't for the issue, I would have reviewed it five stars.)
I bought this because I wanted something new. I had been using a beauty blender for years. I am very glad I found this sponge. It's softer and more forgiving. To those people having trouble with it puffing back up, you are not using the right kind of soap. If you use a soap that is too heavy, the sponge will 100% lose volume. Make sure that you are rinsing it completely. If you wash it and it's not poofing up, rinse more. This sponge will react to any residue left inside it. Bath and Body Works hand soaps actually work really well. Enjoy!
Love Patrick and many of this products but this sponge was a fail. After a couple of uses this sponge doesnt bounce back.
Cracked right away just after 1 wash. i dont know why this product gets a high reviews in here. im tired of beaty blender and I saw this and give it a try but I should have stick to beaty blenders
I liked this sponge at first, but as other reviews have said it doesn't bounce back to shape. It kind of becomes a flat blob that is hard to use. I had so much hope after reading reviews and, kind of being over Beaty blenders falling apart after a week! Won't be repurchasing Beaty blenders
If you use beauty blenders wet Stay Away ! At first I could get the sponge to bounce up if I blotted water from it with a towel. But after just a couple weeks of use it puffs up under water, but squishes into a useless pancake when I squeeze the water out. I thought maybe concealer and foundation was making it stick together and gave it the most thorough wash I have ever given a blender... no luck. If you ONLY use it dry I'd say it's okay, very soft and puffy, but when you go to wash it will never puff back up. 😔
