Best Skin Ever 16 Hour Natural Finish Liquid Foundation

Very different from the older formula, oxidises very quickly inspite of switching up everything.

I have been using the old formula for years. I’m literally heartbroken that they changed the formula on this foundation. The new formula is AWFUL. It’s so drying and cakey, it will literally enhance every single flaw on your face. Even the ones you didn’t know you had. So now I have to look for a new foundation which you know if you’ve been used to a product for years, is a nightmare. Why did they have to fix something that wasn’t broken.

When applied, it sits on the skin nicely, but after a short amount of time it becomes very visible and obvious on the skin.

I have bought the same Sephora-brand foundation since around 2015, in different shades over the years. I have been a loyal customer between ordering directly from Sephora, JCPenney when it was there, or Kohl’s. I placed a Sephora at Kohl’s online order on August 1, but I didn’t receive the merchandise until August 5. I attempted to return the foundation on September 6 after learning you had a return policy and discovering that the new shade didn’t work for me. I had one bottle that was literally used once and two completely sealed bottles in the same shade since I stock up. I understand that your Sephora policy states 30 days from purchase, but I’m extremely disappointed that the return clock on an online purchase begins before the customer even receives the product. In my case, four days of my already-short return period elapsed while the product was still in transit. I shop at Kohl’s because I’ve always associated the company with customer-friendly returns, and being denied a return and exchange (same product / different shade) only a few days outside this window has made me seriously reconsider shopping at Kohl’s or Sephora at Kohl’s in the future. The chat agent at Kohl’s and the Sephora associate would do nothing. A serious competitor offers 31-60 day exchanges. They gained a new loyal customer today, and you lost one. I’ll also be returning the additional $75 Sephora purchase I made today on principle. Never again. I would strongly recommend aligning your practice to your competitors before it costs you more customers.

The old formula was my holy grail. In the old formula I wore 11.5P, and the suggestion here is that it's now 12P. However, it's wayyyy too dark and I found 02P to be a closer match. That's a big shade difference. The new formula is also goopy and drying. It's completely unflattering all around.

Not sure what Sephora changed but this new formulation STINKS. Really disgusting to put on one’s face, idk how they allowed this to go to market. Would not recommend at all, which is a shame because I’ve been using Sephora foundation for years. Pls revisit.

I've used this foundation for years until one day they decided to change the formula. It became cakey, it made all my flaws stand out and it smelled horrendous like something was rotting. The shade names changed too so when I ordered the same one I always had (22P), it looked way too tanned on my skin. I had to return it immediately and look for a new foundation and we all know how exhausting finding a new shade is. I don't know why Sephora had to fix something that was not broken. Please bring back my holy grail foundation that I know and love.

I really like this foundation! It feels lightweight on my skin and gives me a natural finish without looking too heavy or cakey. The coverage is really nice and it makes my skin look more even and smooth. I also like that it lasts for a good amount of time throughout the day. Definitely one I’ll keep using!

Love this foundation. One of my best foundations..it doesn’t crease in my mature and very dry skin, give me natural finish. I can compare it to a very high end foundation as the finish is the same. The shade match is line none other…Love it!!!

In the past, I've liked best skin ever, and I bought two new shades of the foundation recently. They have a terrible, fetid smell. They smell rancid or worse. I had to discard them. The smell makes them unwearable. In two words, they stink.
