I've used and loved the Rhode Glazing Milk for a while, so I was excited to try this product! It's definitely rich and hydrating, so if you need extra moisture in your routine, this is it. I don't know if I see any depuffing or extra benefits with the ingredients, but I do know it makes my skin look healthier, smoother, and hydrated longer than other moisturizers.
THIS IS A YES IN MY BOOK. I have ACNE PRONE skin and this has cleared me up in a matter of a week. This moisturizer is everything. Leaves you skin looking great! I only use it at night after cleansing! So so so perfect!!
I buy this product regularly, but in the small size. I gave it four stars only because I find it a bit expensive. When possible, I mostly look for a good balance between quality and price but sometimes the higher price is justified by the quality and longevity of the product. I’d be curious to see if there’s a similar product at a lower price. The texture is very special. Not something I would use every day. For my dry skin, it goes well under my makeup. It gives my skin a slightly luminous look.
My experience using the barrier butter was great. I found that it helped make my skin look and feel hydrated. It had an impressive texture and formula that my combination skin really loved. I focused on using this product after cleansing and my skin loved it. I like that it helps with minimizing fine lines, which I noticed helped especially around my eyes. It’s such a versatile product too!
The Rhode Barrier Butter is a total lifesaver for dry or compromised skin! Rich, ultra moisturizing, and super comforting, it locks in hydration all night long. Leaves my face feeling deeply nourished and soft. A winter skincare staple!
I find the balm is so thick that I struggle to apply it :( I have to use quite a bit just to cover my face. Definitely better alternatives out there that provide hydration like this but aren't as difficult to apply.
I really hate when an expensive product is worth the money. I’ve gone through 3-4 tubes of this stuff and have tried to dupe it with other rich, hydrating creams but unfortunately nothing compares. My skin immediately improves when I use this. I have dry, sensitive breakout prone skin and this never breaks me out. Makes me gloat and even my skin tone. y ski
I adore this stuff. I have very dry skin, and it's the only occlusive that doesn't bother my rosacea. So nourishing, and great for combating irritation from actives. I'm also acne prone and this doesn't break me out. A little goes a long way if you pat this in instead of trying to rub it around, so the value is great in my opinion.
i like this product but also don’t like it. i have dry skin so moisturizing is a must for me. i feel that this does make my skin look very nice and glowy but it doesn’t feel hydrating nor does it feel super dry like it did becore i put it on. i think because the cream is so thick.
