I have been using the cica over night mask for years. The new formula is not great. Too thick and sits on top of the skin instead of absorbing. Bring back the old formula!
I’ve been using the Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask for about 3 weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. I have combination skin that’s acne-prone with rosacea, so finding products that calm without irritating is always a challenge. I use this mask 3 times a week as the very last step (right over my Laneige Water Bank Intensive Moisturizer) and it has made a noticeable difference. My skin looks calmer, feels softer, and redness/irritation is much more under control. It doesn’t sting or cause breakouts even when layered with actives like azelaic acid on other nights. A little really does go a long way — I use a pea-sized amount and it’s plenty. One tip: Don’t overdo it the first time like I did! If you put on too much it can feel oily. Just gently pat off the excess with clean fingers or a tissue and you’re good. This mask is worth every penny and lasts a long time. It’s now a staple in my nighttime routine. Highly recommend if you have sensitive or reactive skin!
This sleeping mask from laneige gives such intense hydration to my skin. And it dawns juicy, bright, hydrated. Exquisite
I was dealing with redness on my cheeks and nose, and after less than a week of using this product every night it has almost disappeared. I love the way it makes my skin feel! A little goes a long way, this will last for so long. My only regret is not taking a before picture!
I feel weird leaving this after 1 night but my god…. I don’t often leave reviews. Put it on… slept about 6 hours, washed it off. I don’t even know what it did but my skin looked renewed. My skin looked like I had the best sleep of my life. I feel a little of the redness was gone, it looked smoother. I just put more on for a little morning boost. I’ll wash it off in 30min or so. I can tell this is a holy grail product from one night of use.
I’m on my 3rd-4th one, I’m obsessed. I use prescription retinol that’s a bit strong and leaves my skin dry and flaky at times and this is the only thing that actually soothes my skin. I also like to put it on before heavy makeup. Nothing I’ve tried came close and everyone I’ve recommended this to loved it.
My extra sensitive skin loves it. I use it every single night and wake up with the best skin next morning. And for reference I have combination, sensitive and acne prone skin. NEVER BROKE ME OUT.
I was I bit disappointed to find that the consistency of the product was thicker than the original, but I do really like this product!
The Cica Sleeping Mask manages to provide long term effects of moisturization and softness, but I didn't feel anything soothing... especially since the finish is more like slippery. I liked there's no extra scent. I don't feel it as heavy on my skin as other masks.
Reformulation gave both me and my husband horrible cystic acne. This had been a staple of mine for years, I am so annoyed. Used to erase blemishes overnight for me, now it causes them.
