Set it Down Superfine Blurring Setting Powder

I am so disappointed in the new formula. I loved the lavender as it didn’t yellow my concealer and this formula does. They reduced the package size and the amount of product you get with a price increase.

This powder used to be my holy grail, but the new formula is extremely disappointing. We’re getting less product for the same price, and the Mocha shade leaves an obvious red cast on my complexion. It also fails to control oil, leaving my face looking greasy by the end of the day. Combining the deeper shades into one Mocha shade—especially with such a strong red undertone—was not inclusive or well thought out. Darker complexions have different undertones, and one shade cannot work for everyone. Please bring back the original shade range and formula. Until then, I’ll unfortunately have to find a new setting powder.

Should have believed the reviews. This is a very messy powder - fine texture can make it hard to stick unless you pack it on. Definitely has a bit of a white-cast. Not the worst ever, but not my favorite. I wouldn't buy again.

I’m actually annoyed. I have been using the pro filt’r powder in the shade, hazelnut, since the beginning of Fenty Beauty. These new shades are too dark for my skin tone and don’t have any yellow or golden tones to them. It’s been difficult to find a replacement. The powder is key in my everyday makeup routine. I can’t even build brand loyalty.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Even though I couldn’t keep it for myself, I don’t think that’s the product’s fault at all. It was simply a shade mismatch on my end. The formula itself is really impressive, especially if you’re looking for something that smooths your skin and helps your makeup last all day. I would definitely buy it again, but next time I’d make sure to get the correct shade. If you’re thinking about trying it, I’d just recommend taking a little extra time to pick the shade that best matches your complexion.

If I could give the new formula 0 stars, I would. It’s darker than the OG formula, incredibly dusty (powder EVERYWHERE in the air when applying), and makes any other product applied over it lackluster. And the cherry on top? You get like half the product you originally got for the same price point. A horrid disappointment.

I really miss the old formula, it worked better with less product and didn’t dry my skin out. There was also significantly more in a package (almost double). I hope they’ll go back to the old version considering most of the other reviews of the same shade were disappointing.

I used the original powder formula for years with no complaints, but this reformulation does not work for me. It was so drying and gave me really bad flashback in photos. Also half the size for this price?

hate hate HATE the new formula, it’s so dry, makes my skin look patchy, and gives me such bad flashback mary! i’ve used this powder for years and i use to absolutely love it. i am so disappointed.

I’ve been using this powder for years now, it was my favorite until I repurchased this a month ago, the formula seems to dry and it used to feel buttery/smooth it also used to have a smell I loved but now it smells dusty
