I love dry shampoo and this one is making my top favorites. It has a great clean scent and leaves my hair looking thicker and cleaner. Love it and no itching after multiple uses. If you like a thickening product this is perfect
I tried this new Drybar thickening dry shampoo. I normally don’t love dry shampoos that leave a white cast, but this one blends in seamlessly with your fingers rubbing it in! I also love that it’s thickening because I have thinner hair.
I really like this dry shampoo! It does such a good job at absorbing oil from my scalp, it smells great and is not gritty or heavy feeling. It also does not leave a white cast on my dark hair. It does give me a little bit of volume, but nothing to brag about. My hair looks more refreshed with this dry shampoo than with any others.
Detox Thickening Dry Shampoo is an amazing product for my long hair. On very busy days when I don’t have time to shower or wash my hair, this dry shampoo is absolutely perfect. It quickly absorbs oil, makes my hair feel clean, and leaves it smelling fresh. My hair looks fuller, more polished, and noticeably better after using it. I love how lightweight it feels and how fast it works. I really like this product a lot for quick touch-ups.
Not a fan of this dry shampoo at all! It made my hair feel gummy and honestly really gross. My hair is pretty thin and I’ve experienced a lot of postpartum hair loss so it’s really important for my hair not to get weighed down at all and this weighed my hair down like crazy. I had to end up washing my hair after using this.
This dry shampoo made my scalp cleaner and help in adding some texture. However, volume wise, I didn't see much added. I followed the instructions and waited till the shampoo dry and then tease the hair with my fingers.. but unfortunately didn't see much of a difference.
I’ve used Drybar dry shampoos for years. This one does not seem like the same formula as the others because it didn’t do a good job of absorbing oil, and my hair still looked greasy afterward. It also made my hair feel heavy and a little dirty rather than fresh. I will be going back to the original Drybar dry shampoos.
The best dry shampoo for my fine hair and the volume I love
I’ve been using this Detox Thickening Dry Shampoo by Drybar, and I’m genuinely impressed. It refreshes my hair instantly without leaving that heavy, chalky residue some dry shampoos have. My roots look clean, lifted, and noticeably fuller - which is a big win for thinning hair. I love that it adds volume without drying my scalp or making my hair feel stiff. The scent is light, clean, and very “salon-like,” not overpowering at all. It’s perfect for second (or even third) day hair when you want freshness and body without washing. Definitely one of the best dry shampoos I’ve tried for volume + a natural finish. Would absolutely repurchase.
I really like how refreshing this dry shampoo is to my hair and my scalp! However, it does provide a little bit of white casting. I do like that. It is a thickening dry shampoo, which is great for my very thin hair.
