The Imposter Invisi-Boost Volumizing Dry Shampoo Powder

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have very oily thin hair and use quite a bit of dry shampoo. I was extremely impressed by Fenty's dry shampoo. It smells great and the scent lingers in my hair, not only leaving my hair looking clean but smelling clean as well. This dry shampoo does an excellent job of soaking up oils. It also adds quite a bit of texture which I really like as someone with fine hair. With other dry shampoos I'm only able to extend my wash a day, but with this I can get an extra two or three days. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to control how much product disperses when pumping.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love a non aerosol dry shampoo so I was really excited to use this one. The smell was amazing and I got compliments. The pump was nice and distributed the product evenly. It’s definitely texturizing and makes your hair feel thicker which I don’t always love but it’s still a great product. It also didn’t leave a white cast which is definitely a plus.

I have highly reactive scalp psoriasis and get migraines from aerosol dry shampoo. I’ve tried various other powder type dry shampoos (I have super fine/thin and greasy hair) but I always found they weighed down my hair so much that it mostly canceled out their effect, not worth it. I am extremely impressed with the performance of this, it exceeded my expectations and seems easily as effective as higher end aerosol types. It just disappears, no stringiness. After it initially dissipates, there’s very little smell as well (it’s not nothing though) which is a major need for me. Will update my review if my opinion of it changes!

I wash it every 3-4 days, so l use dry hampoo regularly. It's hard to find a good one for travel, despite trying many, from low- to high-end, including k-beauty. Most powdery dry shampoos are just okay, but Fenty The Imposter Invisi-Boost delivers decent volume and hold. It refreshes without weight, giving my flat hair texture and lift at the roots. It’s easy to use but hard to control. The pump can release a lot at once. Since it's a powder, puffing it onto the top of your hair can leave a white cast unless you thoroughly massage it in. That's why they recommend parting your hair into sections and applying it at the roots. I’m particular about scent, especially if it's strong or overly perfumed. The scent is strongest at first but fades during the day. Personally, I'd prefer it unscented. I like being able to smell my actual shampoo or hair oil, rather than having too many competing scents. I noticed buildup after several days of use, so I double-wash or use a scalp treatment to keep my scalp healthy. The purple gradient bottle is a nice aesthetic, and the full size is compact enough for travel. Overall, l'll likely epurchase. It's pricey, but it should last a while.

PROS-Hair doesn’t look greasy or oily after, adds volume and great scent (if you like scents). CONS- the packaging, the pump makes too much product come out all at once, results in hair feeling stiff (but not crunchy)

When I first got it, the small size and the fact that it is a powder, I wasn't sure what to think. Then I tried it, and I was blown away by it. I love that it only takes a little bit to absorb all the oils on my scalp. I really liked its scent too, mild and very pretty. I will definitely continue using this and will be buying more for sure.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is my new “must have” hair product! This is so easy to apply and doesn’t make my hair feel stiff. It doesn’t leave behind a lot of white residue on the hair like other products do. It smells great which is a huge plus! I have always preferred powder dry shampoo, but this one is much better than others plus the pump to apply is a lot easier than the shake/squeeze that other brands use. I have tried dozens of dry shampoos, and I will be purchasing more when this is gone!

I have thin hair and my scalp gets oily the day after washing (if not the same day) this dry shampoo is SO GOOD, I use just a tiiiiiiny bit and my hair looks IMMEDIATELY freshhhhh, the scent is delish and it also gives u a lil volume! I love it!

It's a different form of dry shampoo from what I'm used to using which is the spray can but it still works as it should. I noticed that it absorbed the oils in my hair and gave it volume without it weighing down my hair. My only issue is that the powder form is a little messy and the volume in my hair doesn't last as long as I want it to. It does keep my hair looking clean and smells great.

I have a love hate with this. It smells so good, so that’s my number one love about this product. On the other hand though it makes my thin hair feel staticky. Gives great volume though and you really only need one pump to get the job done.
