Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Anti-Frizz Strong Hold Gel for Curly Hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This wasn’t my favorite product, but does provide good hold. However it is does have a very hard cast that will need to be scrunched out if wanting a softer result. I did find it also leaves behind a white cast which can be frustrating and resulted in having to wash it out. May be better suited for slick backs.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really liked how this Ouidad Climate Control maintained my hair throughout a hot day at Six Flags. It left my hair feeling soft and gave it a wet-like feeling. Not too drying, but gives the perfect hold. I have wavy hair with light curls that frizzes up when dry but after using this product, my hair didn’t frizz up like it usually does. I loved the outcome of it! It doesn’t have a strong smell to it and isn’t too sticky either. In my opinion, this gel is worth every penny and will definitely recommend it.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have been straightening my hair for years so I wasn’t sure if any curls would pop up, but for my hair being damaged, this product helped bring out some curls. The product is somewhat gel like and easy to apply. I usually wash my hair by day 3 and my curls still held pretty well. At first it makes your hair a little crunchy but once you scrunch it, it goes away.

The scent was a nice touch to the product. I was able to use this on curly/wavy hair and it control the frizzy during this humid summer days. When I put my hair up in a bun it also worked so well to keep my style up even after running after the kids! The instructions say to blowdry but I like the hold it left after air drying it for my daughter. It kept her frizz free. Will definitely be long time costumer!

I like to squeeze a decent size amount to my palm, rub my hands together and disperse throughout my hair. It’s not as sticky as I thought it would be. It does have a nice hold to it though. I applied, let it air dry, and in checking on my hair about 5 hours later, I noticed my curls looked intact and had a nice shine to them!

My hair was frizzy and it was humid during this particular day. I think my curls look a little more defined but overall didn’t do too much for frizz or humidity control. The scent is great but maybe try a small bottle before buying.

I used it after the shower and my hair was still frizzy afterwards. It could be worse, but I wasn’t necessarily stoked over the results; especially for the price but maybe it might work better for other hair types.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was so hopeful for Ouidad's Advanced Climate Control Gel since I live in a very humid area and wanted to tame my frizz and keep my curls/waves defined. Applying was good because my hair didn't feel crunchy like it usually does when I use gel. I used a generous amount in my hair. I finger combed it and my hair felt lightweight and shiny. I air dried my hair and then an hour later, my hair started to look super dry and dull in certain areas. And the frizz started to make an appearance. This was still the morning before the humidity was out in full force. Once I got to work the frizz is noticeable (pictured), but it wasn't too bad. As the day progressed, it got worse. By the night, my hair was frizzy and was getting tangled (curls/waves were a jumbled mess). I had to constantly finger comb my hair throughout the day to keep it somewhat manageable. It could be my hair that makes it difficult to tame or maybe I need to put even more product on, but my results were disappointing and the good was short-lived. It does help a little with the frizz (as my hair does get worse without product), but was hoping it to last longer.
