I’ve been loyal to my MAC pressed powder and foundation for years but this eyeshadow stick is joining my favorites list. The pigment is great, it instantly elevates my look and the long wear formula keeps my makeup fresh all day. I received this product for free from MAC Cosmetics for testing and review purposes.

While the color could turn out nice, it isn't pigmented much to notice. It certainly does give your eyes a nice sparkle, but it's easy to spread around to look like a glittery mess on your eyes. It could be this color specifically that is dull, but overall I wouldn't recommend this shade. Might be better to stick to traditional eye shadow powder. One thing I LOVE about this eyeshadow is how much you can build up the color. You can go as sparkly or as subtle as you need based on how light you are with your hand. The formula is nice and creamy, and it's definitely good for a long day. It's very beginner friendly since you can really control the amount you apply by the way you hold the stick. Unfortunately the product was broken when I opened the package, and when I removed the cap it all fell on the floor. After washing it off and putting it back into the tube, the shadow went on so smoothly. Ive only used without eye primer so far and so it showed as a subtle sparkly grey purple. Look forward to trying other colors in the future.

Love this shadow stick. I bought two colors. Taupe it Off is definitely more purple than taupe imo. I also bought the one that has diamonds in the name and I returned it because it looked silver white to me. I did not know what to expect with this shadow, but I am pleasantly no-so-surprised! I mean...it's MAC! I received the shade Taupe It Off and it is a gorgeous color that I think would look amazing on any skin tone! The stick is retractable, which is a feature that I always enjoy in an eye liner, which you can coincidentally use this shadow as! The product glides on so smoothly and effortlessly, and it didn't take many swipes to get the color payoff I was looking for. I was surprised to find out that this eye shadow is waterproof and transfer-resistant without a setting spray only because of how creamy it is. I will say that a very small amount of the product did transfer onto my finger when I tested it about 10 minutes after applying it, so I took a star off for that, but in actuality, you would have to be doing way too much for that to happen under normal circumstances. There was no creasing at all and I think the product looks great as a liner or a full-lid shadow. The shadow lasted me a full day at work (9 hours), but I'm sure it could've easily lasted another few hours had I kept it on. I'm a believer and want to get the shadow in all of the other shades now! Although I received this product for free from MAC Cosmetics for testing and review purposes, I also have a the diamond silver one from my own purchase at the airport before I went on a trip because I wanted an inner corner cool highlight in stick form after I crushed my shadow palette in my makeup bag. I feel super lucky to get a color I might not have otherwise bought for free! Taupe it off is cool toned taupe but not strictly in the grey way, it's much more purple toned (though I wouldn't call it a purple shimmer shadow by any means). I use it in my outer eye v, and it looks nice and blends well. The silver has been a part of my daily routine a few weeks and the taupe is a great quick easy look for when I want the shimmer pop.
