Frizz-Calming Glass Hair Oil with Heat Protectant

This pleasantly surprised me. I used this as a heat protectant after washing and conditioning my hair the blow dry was smooth and light and after the flat iron my hair was really shiny and silky.

Pleasantly surprised by this hair oil. I didn't use it for a blow-out, but I did use it on my wash-and-go. Obviously, some amount of frizz is guaranteed with coily hair, but applying this oil daily actually minimized it by a lot. The photo I attached below is my hair, 5 days old. Usually, there would be stray hairs everywhere by that time, especially since it was also stretched with heat. And most importantly, it DOESN'T STINK! As someone with big hair, it's so important to me that the leave-in hair products I put in it aren't offensive to the nose. This smells decent and has some type of floral scent. Solid hair oil.

After using it for first time, my hair is so silky smooth and no frizz. I love the way it smells. It light be intense but it gradually the intensity if smell decreases. The scent lasts longer. Smells like more of a floral, musky to me. I take 2 pumps of it and rub it in hands, then apply from mid to the end. The packaging is cute but the oil marks stay in the bottle. Gone if wiped off. I love my new styling oil over a mousse or a spray.

First, I'd like to call out how the bottle has a very premium feel to it. It feels almost velvety in the hand. I know it's what's inside that counts but this does help the experience and tells me that the brand pays attention to details. My only concern as if it will turn sticky over time (looking at you old school nars compacts). Hopefully the technology has come further since then. Next I would love to tell you about the smell. I guess some people don't love it, but I would absolutely love to have a fragrance in this scent. It's light soft and would make a fabulous body spray. It's light and refreshing. Mildly floral with a musky note. That brings us to the oil itself which has a light watery texture. It is slightly runny and doesn't hold its body like some of the thicker oils. I like having a watery oil in my arsenal so that it doesn't weigh down my hair. I did find this effective in calming down frizziness. I used it as a last step on my damp hair. It was applied from mid-length to ends. I also would put the smallest bit in my palm and rub my hands together and smooth out the flyaways with it and found it helped with that as well. Overall, I found this to be effective at calming down frizziness as well as softening my medium coarse hair and making it a bit softer and more manageable while still maintaining curl integrity. I find that it does not weigh down my hair or affect the bounce of my curls which some heavier oils may do. I will absolutely continue to reach for this, particularly in times when it's more humid outside or I'm struggling with frizz. For reference, I have between shoulder and below the earlobe hair. It falls around mid neck. It is around 2-3b in texture. It has been color treated but not bleached (got to cover them grays!). It is medium-thick coarseness with medium to thick density. Recommended.

I have thick, fine 2A wavy hair and have been using Unove’s Frizz-Calming Glass Hair Oil in Blush Musk for the past week now. It feels lightweight but still gives enough moisture to smooth frizz without leaving my hair looking or feeling greasy. My waves look softer and a healthier and it helps everything feel more manageable. A little goes a long way with this one! The scent is strong at first, then settles into a soft, warm musk that blends nicely with other fragrances. If you're in the market, I highly recommend giving this hair oil a try!!

Love this hair oil because it’s light weight and applies into the hair so well. A little goes along way and spreads into all the strands of the hair. It’s non sticky and not heavy to weigh my hair down. It keeps my hair smelling fresh and clean while maintaining a beautiful shine. My hair feels protected when I'm flat ironing and doesn't have a burnt smell. It's been a great addition and I highly it.

this is the best hair oil i have tried so far for my hair type. if there are any other girls out there with dry AND fine hair, you know how hard it is to find a product that is nourishing without weighing my hair down. this oil was so effective and so incredibly lightweight. it didn’t make my hair look oily or heavy at all—and it absorbed in an instant. it smoothed, eliminated frizz all day and added shine. the product is also versatile—i was able to use it in so many ways. i applied this as a pre-shampoo treatment to protect my ends from the harsher ingredients in my shampoo. for this, i use two pumps and let it sit for 15 minutes before i shower. i also used one pump after styling with heat to smooth frizz and add shine. because this has heat protection properties, i also applied this to my dry hair prior to high heat exercise classes (heated yoga/pilates) so protect my hair from dryness and breakage. i love having product that does it all! i loved the light, powdery floral scent as well. will definitely repurchase this one and have been recommending it to all my friends!
