Boy Smells Discovery Fragrance Set

I've been curious about Boy Smells for quite a while, and as someone with a serious perfume-hoarding habit, choosing just one fragrance to start with felt impossible. I love discovery sets because I can try several scents for less than a full bottle and find the one I NEED on my perfume shelf. This set has such a fun range, from creamy vanillas and tropical fruits to soft florals and darker woods. I expected Solar Drip to be my favorite because I love mango and tropical fragrances, but the pomelo takes over the mango on me. It's still a beautiful floral-citrus scent, just not quite the tropical mango fragrance I imagined. Picking a favorite is surprisingly difficult, but I'm torn between Coco Hinoki and Woodphoria. Coco Hinoki combines coconut milk and pear with hinoki wood, tiare flower, smoked musk, and black amber. It's soft and delicate, with just enough depth. Woodphoria is completely different, with fig, sandalwood, jasmine, and coconut water creating an intoxicating, dark, sensual woody-floral fragrance. I also really like the sprayers on these little vials. They release enough fragrance that I don't feel like I'm barely getting anything, without spraying half the sample away. The fragrances last around 4 to 5 hours on me, which isn't a dealbreaker since I enjoy reapplying perfume during the day. Applying fragrance over unscented lotion can also help extend the wear. I've had so much fun layering some of these together to create different combinations. I love that they have enough presence to get compliments without walking into the room before I do. Overall, this is exactly what I want from a discovery set. Five genuinely different fragrances, plenty of opportunities to experiment, and no commitment to a full bottle before finding a favorite. Coco Hinoki and Woodphoria are currently fighting for the top spot, which means Boy Smells has successfully created a new problem for my already crowded perfume shelf.

I loved this boy smells travel size perfumes sprays set. I liked that you can get the travel size of all different scents of the fragrance they have so you dont have to buy the full size your can just get this set and try each one every fay and see which one you like and then you can go and get the big size ones . I liked this set and i loved all the scents on them definitely worth it if your like me and like to try the small samples ones before buying the actual big bottles this set is definitely to try for

Boy Smells is such a cool name lol, so I was very intrigued to say the least. On paper a lot of the scents sounded very me: gender neutral, woody, gourmand-ish, a little vanilla here and there etc. I do really like that they sell the exploratory set like this because fragrance is way too personal to be blind buying full bottles. I tried them individually on fresh dry skin, gave them time to settle, layered a couple together, the whole science experiment. Andddd… low key they all kind of smell the same to me. 😭 Not literally identical, but close enough that after trying a bunch of them I started losing track of which one I was even wearing. They mostly stayed in the same general perfumey/woody-clean family without any one of them really doing something that made me stop and go ohhhhh okayyyy. Woodphoria was the one I was most excited about and somehow that one mostly gave me Febreze. Not disgusting, or wildly out of range, just not the comforting woody little forest creature situation I had built up in my head. I appreciate that the scents aren’t aggressively feminine or masculine, but overall I just wasn’t very impressed. But I will say the sampler itself is worth getting if you’ve been curious about the brand because at least you can properly test everything before committing to a bottle.

I will tell you some of my favourite smells: Vanilla Era isn't just a run-of-the-mill sweet scent; it’s a deep, smoky, and rich vanilla that is perfect for a cool evening… Coco Cream feels soft, creamy, and cozy, creating a sense of warmth and comfort. Solar Drip is vibrant, sunny, and uplifting a real burst of energy in a bottle. Woodphoria is a stunning woody fragrance with a juicy nuance; it has great projection and really turns heads. But my absolute favorite is Coco Hinoki! It’s an incredible blend of fresh woody hinoki notes and soft coconut. It smells expensive, sophisticated, clean, and soothing. It developed beautifully on my skin and lasts all day long. I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for original, niche, and stylish everyday fragrances. So I am still recommending this set 😌

The Boy Smells Discovery Fragrance Set is such a fun way to try some of Boy Smells’ fragrances without committing to a full bottle (or frequenting a Sephora to pick a favorite). The set comes with five unique scents. My favorite is the Coco Cream, which is a fruity coconut scent that isn’t overly sweet or overpowering. It almost has a saltiness to it that reminds me of playoh (!). I also really like solar drip, which has just the right combination of fruity and floral. It reminds me of a summer day. Overall this is a great set, but a little pricey considering the size of the samples.

I was excited that the set was called unisex, but most of the scents smell clearly feminine or masculine to me. I had hoped for more that felt like they could work for anyone. I really liked this set. It’s such a convenient way to try different scents and figure out which one you like best. And as a bonus, you can layer and mix them together. I wouldn’t say that every scent completely won me over. There were a few that I didn’t like at all, but most of them smell really nice.They’re definitely unisex, so you can easily share the set with your boyfriend or husband. Overall, I picked out a few scents that I’d love to get in full-size bottles. My fav: peachy oudy; solar drip; citrush; coco cream.

What’s so fun about discovery sets is getting the opportunity to try what a brand that is new to you is all about. I had only recently heard of Boy Smells and really had no idea what to expect. I can tell you, I am an instantaneous fan! While there were some standouts for me (Coco Cream gives beachy vacation vibes with those creamy vanilla and tonka scents) and (Vanilla Era gives me getting cozy for a night in vibes) they all are appealing in their own specific ways. I am personally just a gourmand girl in general, but I also love to change up my scents to my mood or the kind of day I am looking to have. Nearly all of these scents I could see myself wearing on the right occasion. What I also enjoy about them is that since none are overpowering, they also layer nicely. I have tried to wear them all separately first, just to see if there were any that were sharp NOs for me, but now I have tried layering a few and still love them. The only potential negative to me is I find the scents do not last long. Some dissipate pretty quickly altogether, others just soften quite a bit but linger gently. I know some people prefer this in a perfume. Myself, I don’t mind reapplying occasionally, but I find these need another application more often than I prefer. But, beautiful scents, it may just be my body chemistry. There are a few I will risk it and give a full size try for. *Received as part of an educational promotion.*

I am new to Boy Smells. I was always curious about it. This discovery set is more than enough. It has ten distinctive samples so you are sure to find one that you like. I also had fun layering two together. I received compliments throughout the day.i was surprised at the longevity that it has. Immediately I fell in love with Citrush, I like the play on words and the scent profile. I found that using the samples allowed me to discover which notes lasted on me skin or went well with my body chemistry. It’s definitely a treat to yourself and fun for you as a newbie in fragrance. I cannot recommend it enough.
