Cryo-Plumping Lip Oil

I have never been so obsessed with a lip product and I own a lot! This lip oil is absolute perfection - I already have plans to buy a second one for my gym bag. I’ve lost lip volume as I age, but most lip plumping products are drying or too tingly for my liking. This one has a minty taste with zero tingle. My lips are so hydrated and kissable after use. The forgot applicator is sizable and very soft. The packaging looks and feels high end. I’m a fan!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Lip Oil is lightweight with a smooth application. The cryo is an accurate name because there is a cool mint tingly sensation with use. Although this oil didn’t result with much of a plumping effect it does hydrate lips.

The taste is a pleasant, light peppermint, but I didn't get any flush of color or any plumping effect. I thought it was a nice moisturizing gloss that gave some shine, but I would not buy this specifically as a lip plumper.

After trying Clarins Cryo-Plumbing Lip Oil I noticed that it doesn’t feel sticky has a mint scent and felt cooling on the lips. I liked that my lips felt softer,moisturised and a little tingling that felt like it’s plumping . It also adds nice shiny to the lips and no pigment at all.

I felt like the plumping effect was a bit too much burn and also it’s a PH changing product, so depending on your skin tone the product will change color. I felt that the color that it changed to was not super flattering on my skin tone. I liked the texture on my lips and it’s a lip oil so I didn’t feel like it lasted super long.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This lip oil was so fun to get to try. I used the product many times over my test window. This Cryo Lip Oil is a very nice package. It has a secure screw on lid with a very large applicator. It is easy to open and close so people with hand issues should be more successful with this product than some others. The clear shiny lip oil is not sticky or tacky and wears off evenly. I do not personally love the mint feel nor did I see any plumping. It did not burn like some plumping products. It did not last very long or leave my lips feeling hydrated compared to other comparable priced lip products unfortunately. So while this would be a nice product at a lower price point I do not feel it justifies the price point. So I recommend the product if you can find it on sale. I found the product layered with lip stains well.

Iwas really looking forward to checking out this Clarins lip oil. Unfortunately, it was a short-lived experience. I have used all kinds of lip products in the past that were plumping, etc. but for some reason this line from Clarins is very irritating. After using this once for a few minutes, I had to wipe it off. My lips were really dried out for a couple of days afterwards. Mint essential oil can be an irritant for some so it could’ve been that. I’ve never had particularly sensitive skin or lips, but I guess this just isn’t for me. I will say that I did try it on my hand to check out the formula and it’s not sticky and it has a nice vanilla mint scent to it. I wish I hadn’t had a reaction.

This plumping lip oil is great! It has a nice feel on the lips and doesn’t burn like other plumpers do. The scent is enjoyable.

I wouldn’t say this is lip plumping but overall I like the texture, the shine, and the consistency. The best part is that it’s not sticky. It’s a good sample, but for the price, there’s others out there.
