Soothing Prep Lip Care Hydrating Peel-Off Lip Mask

This works great as a prep for a lip if you want a soft smooth surface. I also like it at night before I slather my lip treatment on. It’s dries pretty quickly and when totally dry you just peel or roll it off. I wouldn’t say it is hydrating but smoothing and lightly exfoliating

I wanted to love this after all the reviews I saw online. The product itself isn’t so bad. Not the applicator is horrible. I’ve used it twice and now it won’t come out. I’ve tried the lock/unlock. Nothing works!!!

I thought this might be too gimicky but it’s fun to use and easy to take off.

I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this Laka Soothing Prep Lip Care Hydrating Peel-Off Lip Mask! I did experience a cooling effect as well as a smoothing effect. This is the first time I've used a peel off lip mask and it was a little strange at first. However, I love the smoothing results! My lips definitely felt noticeably smoother after just one use!

I first bought this product from TikTok shop and I loved it it was both easy to use and very hydrating but after buying the product from Sephora I noticed that the applicator is different and the formula is different. The reason I say this is because the peel is much easier with the peel is much easier with the TikTok version as well as the TikTok version feels a lot more hydrating. With that being said I will be buys this product from TikTok from now on.

I received this product for free for my honest review. This is a very unique product. Once you apply and let it dry, it peels off easily. If you do a thinner layer, you can easily rub it off. It leaves my lips cool and tingly in a minty-fresh-like way. It leaves a conditioning layer on the lips making it feel soft and moisturized. I really enjoyed it as a lip prep. The photo looks gross but I promise you, it’s not as gross as it looks.

This lip mask is great to use after a sugar scrub to remove additional dead skin from the lips. The packaging has a locking mechanism to keep the product inside (twist to open) and features a smooth applicator that is mess-free. I was surprised with the quality of packaging for this mask given the price. The mask works great and is not sticky. Would highly recommend applying to your mouth when closed- I applied this product with an open mouth and noticed pilling on the inside of my lips, but did not have this issue when applying with a closed jaw.

I wasn’t sure if this was going to end up being another gimmicky, useless product but I was pleasantly surprised. It feels really nice going on, very smooth, minty, tingly and refreshing. It’s so nice and cooling in this super hot weather. It removes easily and provides a very mild exfoliation. My lips were left lips smooth, plump and hydrated. This is a great prep before your lip product/color of choice.
