EXFOLIATE - Resurfacing Gel Mask with Lactic Acid + Vitamin C

I've noticed a major difference in my pigmentation and texture. My post acne pigmentation is pretty stubborn (sometimes sticking around for weeks) and I've noticed that it helped fade them in half the time. I started off using this once a week, but have used this 2x in the week following a period induced breakout. I initially felt my skin tingle when using this, but haven't noticed any irritation. It feels like a thick cooling jelly. I'm pleasantly surprised because I'm a big fan of Sunday Riley's Good Genes for its exfoliating/brightening, and this Sephora Collection mask gave similar brightening results after about 2 months. I'm already planning on repurchasing a backup. I just wish I took before & after pics.

It’s so quick and the best part of my night.

I use this gel mask for about 10 straight days and I can honestly say it completely transformed the texture of my skin. I am an oily skin girl and gel products just really work for me. The gel mask was refreshing to do every day and something that I look forward to because it did not require too much effort and it wasn’t as sticky as I thought it was going to be. Once I wiped the mask off, I could already notice a difference in my skin. I also don’t get to do gel masks a lot. It’s usually just gel cleanser or gel moisturizer so this is definitely something I will consider purchasing. Also, the packaging was super cute.

I've used this mask for about 3 weeks. Using it once a week. I've never been a fan of thicker gel texture masks but this one was okay. It took me a while to get the mask on but it was comfortable and cooling once applied. Rinsing was a little bit messy but for once a week it was worth it. Especially for the results. It really made my skin glow and helps with my textured skin. This will be a definite repurchase for me. I love having an exfoliating product that actually works and is gentle on my skin.

This has become my new weekly face mask! I love that it applies smoothly and easily and is super easy to remove after only leaving it on for about ten minutes. It does not leave my face irritated, there is a bit of redness the night of using it, but when I wake up in the morning, my skin looks so flowy and bright! I would recommend using this if you have dull , oily, or combination skin. It’s not too drying either, I don’t feel like I have to slather on a bunch of moisturizer when I’m done using it. Definitely recommend!

This Resurfacing Gel Mask-EXFOLIATE from the Sephora Collection, contains both Lactic Acid and Vitamin C.  The consistency of this gel mask is thin, pink in color, and non-granular.  The smooth gel feels cool and refreshing when applied to the skin.  This mask is safe for combination, dry, and oily skin types, and targets dullness, pores, and uneven texture.  It’s best applied on a fresh, clean face, as a thick layer, and left on for 10 minutes.  I love that this mask simply washes off using lukewarm water.  This product pairs well with the Daily Resurfacing Toner and Resurfacing serum from the Sephora Collection. Honestly, I’m always cautious with lactic acid because I don’t want anything too aggressive that might cause rebound hyperpigmentation on my dark skin. ​This gel texture is actually very cooling and didn't sting at all. I love that it combines Lactic Acid and Vitamin C because it targets both texture and dullness at once. After rinsing it off, my face feels significantly smoother and looks more 'awake' without any redness. I’ve been using this mask for a few now and I really like how my skin feels after. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, and I like that it’s not harsh or gritty like some exfoliating masks. After using it, my skin feels softer and looks more refreshed and even. I’ve noticed a bit more glow, especially the next day. It doesn’t irritate my skin, which is important for me. Overall, it’s a nice gentle exfoliating mask if you want smoother, brighter skin without anything too aggressive.
