It’s just ok. I honestly expected more from hour glass given their reputation and price point. The colour is more neutral pinky beige and not the warm richer beige colour it depicts in the photos. It drys my lips out as well. Definitely not what I was expecting and wasted my money.

I don’t know if I personally consider this a balm. I didn’t feel much hydration coming from it and the formula feels powdery to me & it’s fairly pigmented. It doesn’t feel creamy or heavy enough to be a lipstick, but I’m not sure it’s a balm either. It reminds me of a lighter version of MAC’s powder kiss lipsticks. I adored this product on my initial application but feel it warranted reapplication too often. I’m gonna give it one more star just in case I perhaps may have preferred a different shade. I do not feel it provides longevity by any means, but I do appreciate its soft, natural finish and how buttery it feels during application. And as with other Hourglass products, I also like the packaging. It feels luxurious every time.
Bought four different colors. I never write reviews so I feel like I loved this so much it needed a review. I always thought lipstick looked goofy on me and I never liked my lip shape and I hated how precise I always had to be with it. These lipsticks are the best lipsticks I have tried, and I love how the shades are muted and neutral. They are a soft matte on my lips and I feel like I don’t even need lip liner with them. This is a great lipstick for people especially who don’t like lipstick. You might have to reapply throughout the day but I don’t care personally. It looks great on me and feels soft and comfortable. And I love how the shades are not obnoxious and bright. I love how it is also not glossy or satin, so it doesn’t go all over the place for me.

One of the most comfortable matte lipsticks I have worn! More comfortable than the merit lip blush lipsticks. I will be repurchasing! Only small complaint is I wish they would release more colors.

The color is pretty. It applies really nice and smooth. Color does wear off in the day. My lips got dry and chappy too.
bought this because I wanted an everyday lipstick that felt comfortable without being an ultra long-wear formula. It definitely didn't disappoint! It's smooth, moisturizing, and feels more like a lip balm than a traditional lipstick, yet it lasts surprisingly well throughout the day. I'm so happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying it in more shades!
