True Love's Cake Eau de Parfum

Lovely perfume! It is incredibly gourmand, as expected, and smells edible. My only issue is that I think a lot of the ‘softer notes’ are overwhelmed by the sweet vanilla/cake notes. The rose water, pistachio, and almond notes that are meant to make the perfume more of a ‘spicy-gourmand’ are not very present to me. I wish I could smell those notes more, but it’s still a nice gourmand and has good wear-time and projection.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I loved the scent. It smells like walking into a bakery full of different cakes to sample. The almond cake is such a nice light sweet note. I really enjoyed how delicately sweet this perfume was. Overall longevity wise, there’s a bit to be desired. I did have to reapply a few times throughout the day.

Perfectly balanced gourmand! The longevity could be improved, but I don’t mind reapplying. You get this creamy almond cake then it slowly melts into this light rose making it a very wearable gourmand even in hot weather! Lovely!

I love this scent. The nuttiness and sweetness combo is so yummy. I gave 4 stars because unfortunately the scent isn’t long lasting. Otherwise, I would’ve bought the full size with a single doubt. Great product. I do hope for a new formula that has the long lasting scent to it.

It’s so sweet and cakey but I love it. It’s very feminine. First spritz you get the pistachio and almonds and then it dries down leaving a creamy rose and vanilla scent.

I’m not sure why this perfume got so much hate from so many influencers because this is not the typical pistachio gourmand. Yes, pistachio has been over done but the rose water is such a fresh take and brings this to new heights.

The smell is absolutely irresistible. The only problem I would have with it if I had one as I wished it lasted a little longer I get about six hours of out of it, but definitely worth it. 

Smells so good. A great gourmand for those that like florals. I personally love rose so the rose water was a great addition for me. Everyone in my family likes this scent which is rare.

Anyone who says this smells bad…get your nose checked out because when I tell you guys this is SO gourmand. Buy it now.
