Benetint Pocket Pal Dual-Ended Longwear Lip Stain, Cheek Tint, and Gloss

Would like to give this one ZERO stars - it's awful!!!! Color leaks everywhere, even if you follow the very specific instructions for use. It's a terrible mess and much too difficult to use. I'm returning mine.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] At first, this lip tint made my lips feel really dry. I think because it dried out quickly and it’s so thin that I didn’t feel anything coated on my lips. To make the color runs evenly to other areas of the lips, I must apply a couple times here and there, and made it quick. The overlapping areas would appear darker. The tint has no transferring and no fading when I tried to wipe it with the facial tissue. However, when I applied the gloss, it totally changed how my lips feel and look. It feel moisturized, fuller and make the cherry color more lively and vibrant. My lips look much better with the gloss. Just note, this gloss is super thick so you don’t need a full stroke. Just apply a small dot in the center of the lips and spread it out from there, then you’ll have a perfect glossy lips.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The moment I saw tint I was a bit nervous. Why? Because I’ve had some BAD experiences with lip tints where once you put it on, that’s it. If you mess up good luck trying to fix it. Buuuuuuttttttt this one here 🤌🏼 My first impression was definitely the texture. Benetint is very watery, which threw me off at first, but surprisingly, it holds on to the applicator really well. It felt a bit weird or rather said unusually when I first applied it because of how liquidy it is. But that same consistency made the application super easy and lightweight. Like it glided on my lips without that heavy, cakey feeling. One of my favorite things about this product was the drying time. For me it started drying almost immediately. By the time I moved on to the other side of my lips the first side was setting in; which helped avoid making a mess. As far as comfort and layering, this is where it won me over. Once I added the gloss, my lips didn’t feel caked up sticky, or heavy. I could layer the tint and gloss and still have that weightless and comfortable feeling which I love because I hate feeling like I have a ton of product sitting on my lips. I also liked that I didn’t need to constantly reapply it, I find myself only reapplying after I eat and even then, I don’t really need much of the tint, only the gloss. One thing I didn’t like was the texture of the tint. It definitely took some getting used to. However, it’s nowhere near enough for me to stop using it or not recommend it. It has officially earned a spot in my bag for those days I don’t want to do much, like a full face, but still want to look and feel cute. Sometimes a good lippie is allllll you need 💋

I don’t know if it’s user error or if this is just not the product for me, but in the immortal words of Randy Jackson, it’s a no from me dog. The colour seems to cling to my lip on the inner side and it looks like I just ate a popsicle (not in a cute way). I don’t find it super long lasting either. The smell/taste is also quite astringent and not pleasant. Have tried it twice or three times on the lips and haven’t gone for the cheeks yet. Hoping it is better as a blush. It’s a bummer because I really wanted to like it. The colour is super nice when it lays where it’s supposed to. Unfortunately won’t be a rebuy.

loved that it's a big thicker of a formula than the original stain. goes on beautifully. the applicator is perfect for the lipline. and the gloss is not sticky.

This is not good at all. It’s drying, patchy - there are better stains out there.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This product was so so for me. I felt like this kind of performance I could easily find at the drugstore. There’s nothing innovative about a liquid runny stain & clear gloss. The shade was nice but did not wear evenly. The gloss was pretty tacky and not up to par with newer, smoother, formulas. I would skip and try a trending peel off lip stain & clear gloss from your fav brand, for the price point.
