It is a gorgeous deep neutral-ish maroon that can be built up. Dont pay attention to the official photo listings because its nothing like it. Look at actual swatches that people have posted online.
The texture a lip feel is great. With that said, the color is way off from what is shown in the images. It is a very deep cool toned plum (blue/gray leaning). Very disappointed with what I received.
MAC lustreglass lipsticks are always great - they apply evenly and have a good wear time for their shine! This collab with Chappell Roan is beautiful.

This lipstick doesn’t look like the pictures, being way more sheer and purple. However I’ve noticed that Mac lipsticks almost never look like the photos. But I saw a try-on better buying, and love this lipstick. It’s a beautiful purpl. I will note weirdly this lipstick is smaller than Chappell’s ‘ Unnatural Rehead’, but still the same amount of product. lipstick
I can see why this is sold out. The shade is absolutely stunning. Idk how the reviewer before me says this is a deep purple.. it’s not on me, and I’m a fair skin tone. This is pretty enough to be an every day shade!
