I'll be honest I have bought 5 shades of these and have returned most of them, save for Toyed. Toyed is close enough to my lip that it gives my lip a nice boost but you can't see the issues. The dream I was sold on these was that they'd basically be Clinique black honey on speed. Throw it on as it is, but it'll have the gloss without the gloss feeling, but the ease of a balm. This is not a balm. It's thicker, stickier. Somewhere between a gloss and a balm, sure. I found that most colors needed to be layered with something to make them work well for the right pay off. That is not a balm. If I wanted to layer with a tint or a lip liner, I'd stick with a normal lipstick or go back to Clinique black honey. The colors swatch gorgeously. The pigment is quite pretty. But if I can see where I need to add more and it's extremely thick, it's a miss. Sorry!

The color doesn't match the pictures but it's very pigmented and color is beautiful. Very hydrating and shiny. I really like this lipstick and already looking at other colors.
Appallingly little product for the cost. It’s a nice enough formula but goes on darker than expected.
I was told it was sheer. It’s too pigmented (meaning I can’t just apply it on the go) and it sits heavy on the lips, does not hydrate. It feels more like a lipstick, which is gorgeous as a natural lippie. Just not for me.

Alchemy is the Perfect fall shade but you barely get any product in this packaging for the price which is crazy. So it’s just meh to me

I constantly look for lip products that provide perpetual moisture and add color at the same time. This is a combination of everything at the same time. It looks like a lipstick in a very beautiful slick case which is so convenient to slid in any pocket. It hydrates and keeps lips plump like a balm and it gives a nice tint and gloss like a lip gloss. I’ll definitely buy again.

This lip balm applies very buttery onto my lips. I love the shade and I think it is well pigmented. It does transfer a little bit when drinking things but I still think it lasts well on the lips.

Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with the product itself. It’s like any other lipgloss type of product that isn’t too sticky. The shade range, will quite large, still seems to be missing core shades that are suitable for mid to dark skin tone. Also, the quantity isn’t justifiable .
