Hair didn't perform at all as I expected. It tangled within the first few days and does not feel particularly soft. I give it two stars because I assume it’s safer/healthier than regular braiding hair, but it leaves much to be desired performance wise. I will not be buying again.
i’ve never had synthetic hair feel so close to real hair. it’s so soft and light. feels like real hair and doesn’t tangle or rip my natural hair like competitors do. best pack hair i’ve ever used!

I love Ruka's braiding hair! I have a sensitive scalp, and regular braiding hair usually gives me a bad reaction. I'd given up on wearing extensions until I discovered Ruka. They're also reusable, which makes them even better value. I'll never use another brand of extensions again!

I used this for my braids and it was amazing quality. My braids lasted long, it didn’t irritate my scalp and it was easy for my hairstylist to manipulate. I LOVED IT!

I am very pleased with the quality of the hair! It smells nice, no chemical smell. It’s soft and the dark brown color matched my hair color exactly! It’s takes a little getting use to braiding wise, it sheds a bit but, so do a lot of other brands. I appreciate how healthy this hair is, it doesn’t break me out, I haven’t had any scalp irritation, it looks natural, I like the way it looks and that it’s not too heavy, and that I only need to flat iron the ends with a little heat to seal the rest of the braid for a nice finish it acts like natural hair. I bought three packs but I only needed 1 and a half for sh-medium (small/medium) box braids and I’m happy I can just wash and reuse the hair cause it’s a bit pricey but worth it!
I tried Ruka for the first time at the start of 2026. I wanted a braided bussdown and typically the risk there is that the braiding hair won’t hold up; it’ll tangle, become dull, and look really split after 2 weeks. These lasted 10 weeks through hot pilates, lots of heat from my T3 straightener, and a little bit of vacation. Excellent, soft braiding hair.
