Bought for myself (course 4b hair), it held my hair down, but I found it left my hair drier than usual. Definatley did not work on my 4z edges and did not leave as much sheen as other gels. Worked really well for my mum who has smoother textured type 4a/b hair. Slicked her hair down beautifully, with a nice shine.
Received this as a gift with a previous purchase, and I absolutely love it! It smells amazing, and doesn't leave my hair flaky or sticky. Best of all, there is no residue. I will definitely be purchasing it again.
The perfect product for when you want your curls to really pop. A little finger deranging with this gel does the trick!
Fun fact, I actually use this to sleek my hair rather than as a curling gel and it works amazingly well! I use as final step and I don’t need to use much product. I love that it doesn’t leave my hair dry/flaky. No strange smell and it feels like it’s good for my hair as I apply so I’m not worried. The only downside is that it makes my hands and anything I touch quite sticky, so I have to wash my hands before touching brushes, combs, ponytail extensions etc. Overall, it’s a staple in my collection and works really well for my 4C hair.
