Forever On Set Powder Blurring Translucent Loose Setting Powder

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This powder worked very well even in 100 degree heat. It has a fragrance but you cannot smell it once it’s on the face. It blended in and set my makeup seamlessly without any harsh creases or lines. It is a fine powder with a bit of dust but nothing extreme.

100/10. This powder is very mattifying. The most in my collection of other powders. Yes, even more so than Huda’s Easy Bake, One Size’s, or Laura Mercier’s (the black lid one). How did Dior do this with no talc??? The texture feels similar to Mac’s loose setting powder, while the blur is like Mario’s powder. Less heavy than Natasha Denona’s Hy-Glam powder. No, this is not a powder for the one-and-done natural finish girlies. Run to Charlotte’s loose powder for that. If you want snatched-glam-matte, Dior all the way. This could even be used as a finishing powder on top of your setting powder, to seal the makeup and make it transfer-resistant. However, due to the super matte effect, I would not bake with this or else you would suck the moisture out of your skin and look like a desert mummy. Also, if you are Light Medium to Tan and want an ALL OVER application, get the shade in 02. 00 Translucent will make you ghostly ashy, unless you want that brightening effect for your under eyes.

Absolutely gorgeous. The packaging, the presentation, the finish, everything. This leaves your skin looking very natural. Matte, but not in a “I’m wearing a ton of powder” kind of way. Very skin-like finish and helps maintain that throughout the day. Not as mattifying as other powders, but excellent for combo/dry skin people!!

I was so excited to try this and after using it for a week, I will say I love it! I wore this with and without setting spray and it held up well both times. It blurs like it claims to do and is definitely full coverage but not dry or cakey. I got the shade 01 Fair and seemed kind of yellow at first but it blended so nicely once my whole face was put on and I looked SMOOOTH. I think everyone knows about the good reputation of Huda’s easy bake and I think this is comparable and may be even better in my opinion 😜 for the price point and the cute packaging, I think this is so worth it! I love the scent which is common with luxury brands and it doesn’t bother me. I don’t smell it once it’s on my face. I only smell it off the packaging so don’t let that deter you from getting it. I have dry and sensitive skin and live in a very dry state and my skin didn’t have any bad reactions/breakouts so that’s a plus. If you’re looking for a new powder, I recommend this one!

I have naturally dry/combo skin and I found that this powder did not cling to dry patches and make my skin feel dehydrated. I haven’t experienced any pilling or flaking while using it. It has a beautiful finish that smoothed out my pores & texture beautifully. It has a nice elegant scent also!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I tested the Dior Forever Onset Powder for two weeks before writing this review. With that, my honest opinion is that it is a pretty solid setting powder. However, it’s nothing special in comparison to some other brands. It definitely gets the job done, and I absolutely love the packaging, especially the plush cover paired with the soft applicator. I think where it falls short is that it does leave my skin looking a little ashen when I’m done, but I did find a solution to that. If I just use this for my under eyes and a little in my T zone, it works amazing. But I wouldn’t be using this all over my face. Overall I will give this product four out of five stars!

This is one of the best setting powders I’ve tried lately. It’s so lightweight and yet mattifying and soothing. It has a light pleasant scent, which I enjoy and help my makeup last all day. I got the fair shade, but it blurres into my make up without noticeable color and blends in nicely. Overall I am very satisfied and keep reaching for it every time I need my make up to last long
