Without a doubt, out of the 3 brands of organic instant coffee that I've tried from iHerb, this one is the best, it completely dwarfs the other 2 with its intense rich flavor.
*I got the decaf first, and came back to get the regular.* I'm a bit of a medium roast coffee snob and pay good money for my beans... but when I'm in a hurry and/or don't want to pull out the grinder, I want an instant that's at least palatable. So I searched. And I spent $$. And I tasted more bad brews than good. So I looked for reviews, and CA was highly reviewed on reddit. Iherb had it, so I gave it a shot. Gotta say I'm impressed! This is a true medium-roast coffee that's smooth with a slightly round mouthfeel. IMHO, the flavor is bright with notes of cocoa, with a tiny bite mid-palate and little astringency. It can even mimic a darker roast the more of it you use. My recipes: 1.7 grams / 8oz hot; 2 grams / 8oz. iced. Nice little buzz. Even my guests like this blend. I normally don't wax on in reviews, but CA is a solid stand-out among a lot of MEH instant coffees. It's worth the price.

I ordered the Cafe Altura because the one I usually get was out of stock. Wow, I am so glad that I did. This coffee is not only organic and freeze dried but it seems to be lower in acidity than others I've tried. I don't get that burning sensation (like an acid reflux) with this coffee. I bought it as it is natural, it smell is not ok, not bitter, the size is ok, not too large, that I can finish it on time, it is organic, I love it. It is packaged with glass bottle, it is the reason I bought it. It is instant coffee, very convenient to drink.

This coffee is very smooth, delicious tasting and high quality. And it is so simple to make too. I look forward to drinking it every morning. I like to add a little cocoa powder (to rejuvenate my stem cells), half & half and stevia to it to make mocha flavored coffee. Yummy!
You can’t go wrong with this one. Taste and quality are spot on! Instant coffee is much more pure in my opinion because there are no filters or plastic coming into contact with it. I don’t know if I will ever go back to brewed.
