the butter is delicious and has a great consistency. It is great for baking and eating fresh with fruit or jam. the best thing is that is made only of one ingredient (italian almonds) and is peanut free. Unlike the picture here on iHerb, the product comes in a plastic container, not glass. Mix it well before use.

I got this to try it out since it was on sale. The package was delivered on a warm porch outside so I wasn't super surprised that the consistency of the almond butter was very liquid. I stirred it up to make sure it was smooth and put it in the refrigerator hoping it would thicken up a little. It did, but only a little. It tastes good and is fine to "drizzle" on things, but not really the kind of nut butter that I would recommend "spreading". I might mix it with some of my more solid natural peanut butter so I can at least use it like I had planned. There really isn't anything "wrong" with it, it's just not what I expected. I should have looked at the reviews with some of the pictures before purchasing.
