This company is supposed to own the patent for the particular strain of this probiotic. Other brands don't list the exact strain, but reviews report achieving similar benefits so I'm not sure if it's totally worth the extra money. But if you want to not take any chances, get this brand. Super high quality and reputable company.

I have used this product for over a year. It has not caused any negative side-effects. I had a a bone density scan after using this product for an extended period and the results were reasonably positive. I'm not a doctor and I can't attribute the results to this product since I also was following a program of walking and hand weight exercise, but it has motivated me to continue taking this product until my next bone density exam in 2 years.

This probiotic is really good but even better when fermented. I use it to make l reuteri yogurt and it's healed my gut issues. No more bloating, gas, pain and loose stools. The quality is top notch and most of us are deficient in this particular probiotic so it's a great one to have. Easily absorbed and good for your bones. Can't ask for more!

Probiotics seemed active and definitely could feel their effects (I used them to make yogurt and could tell a difference). Expiry was far out. Limited added ingredients.
